Once again, HE DID NOT GO TO THE AUTHORITIES the sad little s*** went running off to OGS. Not the same thing. It doesn't matter who DF went to Gogh, the fact is he reported it somewhere. so the ends the same. Understand now? Bollox. If he didn't report it to the league, he should have escalated it within Bolton. telling a 'mate' or anyone else for that matter is not "Reporting" it. Telling anyone is divulging the facts, no matter who it is you are telling. The idea is to prevent cover-ups. When this goes further the likes of SE25 and the rest will get it. If the league make a ruling that neither party or either party agrees with they can take the league to court over the decision if they believe it transvenes any law, Now my bet is Tan will take this to court once the league decides Palace have no case to answer. After all, Tan is proving that desperate. Then anyone who is known to be involved will be asked to tell all. Those who do not declare honestly what they know will then be seen to withholding information, or even abetting. Those who truly think the above scenario is not possible or likely need to look back at sport in general and soccer in particular. Hopefully I hope this puts my side to this to rest and I pray nothing of what I've said, occurs.
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

If a member of the Cardiff staff was stupid enough to give away the team, then surely that is their internal problem. If someone from Palace had broken into their offices to steal the team info then that would be different. I mean, Sunderland fielded an eligible player for 4 matches and only got a fine.

I havnt read the last ten pages of posts, but how on earth can Dougie Freedman be the link, how did he get the Cardiff teamsheet in the first place ? Let Tan have his two minutes of straw clutching and then let us celebrate staying in the league, against everyones odds ! Alan Hansen...up yours

Almost like when someone witnesses a car crash. It is against the law to not report it if the incident has been witnessed no? Just hope this doesn't get further in the courts which could culminate in any points deductions.

Yes they will be construed as criminal acts. Like cricketers paying for weather reports. This is because betting may be involved or something that may influence the outcome of a sporting event. See what is happening all over the sporting world to get this fact. If any club are seen to breach the rules in any way, it can be seen as criminal. Of course common law will not be infringed as this is not statuary and often involves civil law, making it a case for only NGOs to enforce within their remit.
