We didn't deserve to lose that but in know way deserved to win. Southampton are a seriously dirty team and we are so toothless in the final 3rd. Puncheon was awful, KG isn't needed in games like that and Jerome? Seriously? He is actually shocking. Time for Bannan and Gayle to be back on the pitch and proving their worth. It must be better....musten it?

Something has got to change thats for sure..I felt for Murray today. .scraps wad all he had...back four were ok, Bolasie pkayed we'll and was the only threat..rest were appalling...how bad jerome has to be to give gayle a go is anybodys guess

Bolasie was good, was there a reason a red wasn't given when he burst through the center and was brought down? Look last man from the Holmesdale? Should I just add it to the rest of Webb's strange decisions?

Someone in the middle to help Ledley (who I actually thought was ok) with keeping the ball would be nice, Jedi is going downhill fast in his distribution ability.

I think there lies the problem today. Those three are part of our midfield and were out of sorts today. If we don't have creativity in midfield then the forwards aren't going to get chances. Thought Ledley had a better second half and Bolasie was our only danger to Southampton. Murray and Jerome when he came on had no decent service from midfield and that was the difference between the two sides. Thomas put in a couple of decent crosses, but Ince did nothing. Service was poor hence the defeat. Let's hope we can pull of a win in one of our next two away games otherwise we are in big trouble. Then again those just above and below have the same problems and it's going to go to the wire?
