Indeed, a friend of mine who was into his stuff, said he much preferred Neil young,...because he could never be sure if Dylan was taking the pl55 , or not, with his voice. I saw Dylan in 1989, and was under-whelmed. However, he has got really good reviews for this album, so I'm hoping it changes my mind. And as for 'meaningful and deep' lyrics, I think Bros did just as well.

As for Bros

There seems to be an error with the Spacelords albums Mr A posted previously. The titles on the download files do not match the contents. Just saying,.... good band, though Edited by Forest Hillbilly (22 Jun 2020 3.54pm)

Another quickie, GRAB THIS It contains the famous song, Deteriorata "You are a fluke of the universe. You have no right to be here, and and whether you can hear it or not, the universe is laughing behind your back." Also Phono Phunnies, Magical Misery Tour an hilarious spoof on John Lennon where he sings, "Genius is pain!" As well as Pull the Tregros and Concert in Bangla Desh and Profiles in Chrome, even the insane gameshow parody Catch it and You Keep it. An absolute MUST HAVE for your collection! Good Day This is my first request here since staffie's passing so I'm hoping you can help. A little ditty from 1974 called "Costafinetown" has inexplicably been going around in my head all day and I've since found out it's by a band called "Splinter". Their debut album "The Place I Love" received some rave revues at the time and was compared with names like Lennon & Badfinger. Seeing as George Harrison had a mighty helping hand in this album then I guess it can't be half bad. For the life of me I can't track it down so I'm kinda hoping you can. After many years of deletion, it was released on CD in 2015. In accordance with staffie's requirements:- The Place I Love - Splinter Good luck and thanks. Edited by Tyke Exile (24 Jun 2020 5.47am)
