Fantastic news. To all the doom mongers who had no faith in our talisman to do the right thing...... do one!

What he has done speaks volumes for the man and ensures that should Barca or Real M get itchy palms over his performances this season then they will have to pay top money to get him and I mean the sort of money that we could definitely replace him with (and build another new stand come to think of it).

Personally I never want to see him go and feel Parish thinks the same way, but whatever happens in the future this definitely strengthens our hand.

Mr Durham why let facts get in the way:
1. Zaha is settled at the club and in the form of his life what is wrong in staying where you are loved.
2. There is no offer from another club on the table. Lots of paper talk but no one made a bid so wher is he to go?
3. He went to the Ivory Coast because Hodgson and Southgate wouldn't pick of r U21 or the full England team.

Finally My Durham why domn't you *!*!% etc

Mate, what he does (and he does it very well) is envoie emotion. You’d never have heard of him if he didn’t present the way he does. I’m pretty sure even he doesn’t believe half the drivel he comes out with. He’ll get a really decent radio show out of that opinion, based on rubbish but why would he care?

Do what I do with all trolls, ignore him.

Wait until you see him on London Bridge, headbutt him and then chuck him in the water, never to be seen again?

durhams praised him...and hes still talking about him, shows what a big story it is.

i assume you know & understand its the presenters job at TS to encourage conversation & calls.

nowadays he praises zaha and says he loves watching him play.

Ludicrous statement. Not to dig 2 Palace managers and a Palace stalwart but it was the managers who didn't show any faith in Wilf, opting for supposedly better players at bigger clubs. Looking at the World Cup semi I was thinking with Wilf in there he could easily of made a difference.

One of the England managers who repeatedly ignored him was none other than our own Mr Hodgson. Let the insults fly....

Hmmm ... same old, same old, same old style of play throughout the tournament. Never a plan B. Wilf would have brought it to life.

He's also the one who gave him his 2 caps. Just not in competitive games sadly.

Anyway. In my opinion, now is the most exciting time to be a Palace fan since I started supporting the club in (see below).

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

No kidding. Watching England look towards RLC in the tournament when Zaha is a far superior talent would have been galling if I was a national fan
