Deliberate policy? Let's see some evidence of that! We have no real idea what was going on under the radar to deal with this. With the benefit of hindsight it seems mistakes were made but that doesn't mean we can question the integrity of those involved without evidence. My earlier posts suggested we did not know whether the media had responded to requests not to publicise. Now we know that, at least for some time, there were reporting restrictions in place. You did this with 'Trump's Russian collusion' all the time. You put out opinions without evidence non stop on the topics you deem valid yet compare that to your post here. You refute recognition of your own double standards and instead continually excuse yourself from the same logical consistency or at least honesty that others hold to. Later today, I shall go over one by one your comments from early in this thread to show.....just how iffy some of them were.

Yes, according to the former DPP Lord MacDonald and the MPs Sarah Champion and Ann Cryer.

Yes, according to the former DPP Lord MacDonald and the MPs Sarah Champion and Ann Cryer. The claim was it was "deliberate policy". Whilst I know that there has been much criticism of the way it was handled, by MPs among others, I don't believe anyone has suggested it was ever a "deliberate policy" to ignore crime.

There is heaps of evidence though. Some may be circumstantial but added together it makes for a clear case. That he cannot be now prosecuted is because of Barr's ruling and impeachment is not an option because of the Senate dominance. If some of the House committees turns up something truly obvious maybe that will change. You waste your time with my previous posts all you like. It keeps you occupied for a while which is a good thing.

We need to be clear about this. Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (10 Jul 2019 8.04am) 'We' don't need to be clear about anything, I write what I choose, to whom and when. Regarding Mandela, I have never researched the man and therefore would not venture a view. My very limited understanding is that he had a significant change of heart during his incarceration.

He came out as an international statesman and a man of peace who oversaw his country's transition into democracy. Who says prison doesn't work.

OK, don’t believe it. After all what would the Director of Public Prosecutions know about it?

My very limited understanding is that he had a significant change of heart during his incarceration. Nice swerve. However, that's partially the point. What you know of Mandela from the media is positive, when the real picture is far more nuanced than they are willing to portray. Robinson gets the opposite treatment......the public or 'activist' perception of his views and the views he actually holds often don't match up. I noticed that you didn't answer when I asked you who else was available to represent the concerns many of us have. As for criticisms of Robinson. I think many of us have actually made them. We just don't share the level of vitriol that you have. SW19 (who isn't on the right) myself and notable others including Hrolf and Badger have made criticisms of Robinson. If the issues and problems didn't exist and weren't being properly dealt with then no one would have ever have heard of 'Tommy Robinson'. As it is, even if they rid themselves of him (and I hope he leaves for the US), nothing is really going away as the problem is only going to expand.

I don't believe I have got "personal" at all. I have condemned his actions and not his personal life or beliefs. The reason why he matters is not because of him or what he says, let alone that it's the truth! It's the rabble rousing impact on the impressionable that is the concern. That impact is on open view right here. The impressionable.

The impressionable.
No....you see, they should just be trusting the authorities....not getting 'roused up'. The same authorities that allowed it to happen......I really can't stress enough just how massive a disaster this was.....The state has had a lock down on this problem ever since.....It punishes the reaction to it more than it tries to deal with the cause....Well, the reality is that like most boomer leaders they don't want to deal with the actual cause. Robinson's a 'rabble rouser'....Well feck me.....if your own daughters being raped doesn't rouse people up I don't know what does. But you know what's really going on here......none of this affects them. Edited by Stirlingsays (10 Jul 2019 1.49pm)
