Afraid not, just have a feeling he will be appointed. He is exactly the type of manager we need to progress. Surely Parish will not turn to the likes of monk, dyche, hodgson or stam! "Afraid not." Wait a minute, so what on earth is the point of this thread? Attention seeking? Edited by WelshEagle (29 May 2017 9.38pm)

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Could we tempt Brendan Rodgers to Palace?' by Guntrisoft Champions League or bottom half of the Premier, from what I have heard he has an overinflated opinion of himself. The man has a full size head to toe portrait of himself in his house in the hall to greet his visitors, a bit odd.

Superb option. Would make sense as what genuine challenge is he facing at the hoops? Hurrah we've won 10 nil...again. whoopee! Then again he is loved, is paid well, gets European football guaranteed and there is the small fact that he was a celtic supporter since boyhood. Let me just say i would be very surprised. Would he's stock rise at Celtic or decrease. He won the league by 30 pts. If we truly ambitious then Rodgers should be the next manager. He has a 44% win ratio at Swansea in 2 years.

When was the last time Celtic spend 30m on a player. Their a selling club that dominates a poor league.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Jaap Stam' by Guntrisoft there are lots of managers with prem experience who are total gash. i would rather a championship successful fella than a premier league loser.

People need to realise we are better than this. Keep saying names of Championship managers with no prem experience, can't even get their current side out of the second tier. We should be aiming higher or we're asking for another relegation scrap. If that is yout litmus test then don't complain when we end up with David Moyes.

Mate what kind of rational is that one? He made no attempt to win the game, deserved to lose. You think in his first managerial role in which he ultimately failed are credentials to take over at Palace?

I have never forgiven Reading since they crooked AJ. Having said that they can play some decent stuff but today they looked unambitious and the number of back passes and missed passes are a reflection of the managers tactics. There are better guys about and I agree CPFC should not undersell themselves. In SP I trust!
