From the One World: Together at Home TV event on 18 April, here’s the Rolling Stones’ performance of You Can’t Always Get What You Want, the main highlight of the evening for many who watched. Attachment: You Can't Always Get What You Want.mp3 (7,957.36Kb)

Any chance you can lay your hands on the eponymous Elastica album? My CD snapped and I never backed it up! Fun fact: 'Stutter' is about Damon Albarn's inability to get it up

Most of you probably know this, but as a thread crossover The Stranglers successfully sued Elastica for their brazen theft of Dave Greenfield's stunning keyboards play on 'No More Heroes' for their single 'Waking Up'. They also lifted the riff from Wire's 'Three Girl Rhumba' for this song, 'Stutter'. Edited by Slimey Toad (12 May 2020 9.01am)

I would love anything by Karen Dalton or Fred Neil, folkies from the 60s Greenwich Village scene. Thank you.
