Sanders says he comes down on the side of equality here but he knows that hasn't been the message of the Democrats for decades now.

He even stresses equity on his own website. Looks like he was too embarrassed to admit it because of the company he was in.

I fail to understand why the past needs changing.
There has to be a past for there to be a present and a future - surely?
It is what it is and it does no harm.
I bet we aren't thinking of re-writing any books that celebrated BAME lives are we!
It is just madness and we are quite quickly entering a world where a minority of ignorant people think they have the right to change history so that it suits their own personal idealistic modern day way of thinking.
Sad more than anything.

I suspect there is a certain money making angle to this.

They know that many conservatives are going to rush to buy these books up for their children if they think a mass of censored disfigured versions become the norm.

I know of several people who brought the complete works of Dahl when news of this madness came out.

George Orwell was a very clever foresighted (if there is such a word) man!
He saw the crap we are in now and he was generally ignored.
Enoch Powell saw it was well, albeit his view was understandably a little less palatable

The police seemingly aren't too interested in arresting those sending death threats to a young boy who damaged a Quran.

Yet hell itself won't stop them arresting a woman silently praying too near an abortion clinic.

Now comparing the new migrant policy to Nazi Germany.
He may at last get the sack for this one - one can only hope!!

Don’t hold your breath . Apparently BBC bosses are going to speak to him about impartiality rules (again!). This will be at least 3 times and BBC bosses were questioned about this by a select committee and they stated his social media comments were improving.
What does Linekar have on the BBC? If his views were similar to Laurence Fox, MOTD would have had a new presenter years ago. Still lucky they are so impartial

The term loony left is often used by people like me as a lazy description of something we don't like. However in the case of Sheffield Council I think it is appropriate.

I can't get my head around what they were doing and why. When even the Greens and the Lib Dems are calling you loony you have to wonder.
