I find it sad that you get propped up by some who clearly believe that this stuff is nonsense, but view you as 'useful' because your fantasy doesn't interfere with their world view; searching for other targets instead. Hypocrites I believe they're called. At least you haven't bought into an active aversion to, or distancing from other races as a core component of your character though. You're not that far gone.

Everyone has a different way of viewing the world, but it can't be good to habitually buy into this stuff. Maybe a good start since you're looking to discuss would be to start with what you think the above clip shows? That there are two Hillary Clintons? What purpose do you think there would be to that? Isn't one already too many . You've done this with a couple of Biden clips too. Seemingly suggesting that they've either been 'replaced' or are in some way 'not human'. Is that an accurate description of what you're saying? Let me know.

I found that genuinely juvenile.

F*ck me, possibly your most ridiculous comment yet. In an ocean full of steaming bullsh*t.

So much of right wing thinking these days requires you to distrust academia and the qualified doesn’t it.

Well, being a qualified professional and having taught as part of it gives me far more of a top down view of it than a believer like you.

Next time you want to condescend to Lombardinho, just remember the copious pile of nonsense that resides in your own head.

Thanks for the support, Stirling, but I'm not convinced Dan's particularly got the knives out for me tonight.

I think a lot of what gets said, particularly in this section of the forum is only a fraction away from a squabble simply because of the way the platform's set up. A poster could still be smarting from an exchange several years ago and it's been allowed to fester.
Perhaps we're all dabbling with the old "Pen is mightier than the sword" ploy.

Humans are naturally tribal and we shouldn't forget that we're all part of the same Palace tribe.

Having said that, I've openly declared my hatred for Charlton Athletic in the past, but if I really dug deep and thought about it critically, they probably aren't too different from us, if truth be told. Same passion for football with a few dickheads lavishly sprinkled around.

I believe the very nature of HOL masquerades as a place for healthy discussion when in fact it's the same divide and rule technique applied by the powers that be.

Left v Right, China v America, pro life v pro choice, gun ownership v defending yourself against a gun when you haven't got one of your own(!) the list of false dichotomies is endless when you think about it.

I agree, Dan hasn't really got it in for you, he views you more as a victim similar to 'holier than thou' Wordy.

I'd say I certainly consider those political differences you list are not false dichotomies myself, however I would agree that a lot of the handbags on display on Hol are little more than that. Divides genuinely exist, though why they exist as greatly as they do is another discussion.

Having a go at Wisbech for being a conspiracy theorist and then taking the side of someone who thinks that Hilary Clinton was swapped and is now played by someone pretending to be her.

What university did you teach at out of interest?

An unserious man.

WE was himself waffling about others being conspiracy theorists so I simply reminded him of his Russia-gate obsession.

An unserious man? Well, you certainly make me chuckle I can't deny it.

Maybe it's because changing your mind about a certain issue is so frowned upon in HOL-land. I don't see ignorance as a weakness if one is humble about it. Our egos naturally want us to feel superior. Does knowledge actually qualify any authority? I don't think so. But if we're constantly encouraged to pick sides over subjects, perhaps prematurely, then our opportunities for advancing and improving our view of the world could get compromised.
Anyway, nice that we can have our own perspectives without locking horns.

That's not how I see the world but if that works for you then cool my man.

Stirling is a qualified professional AND a teacher

I suspect that is code for never qualified in teaching.
