I’m sorry to hear that. There will always be idiots out there. My point is, the majority don’t feel like that and haven’t for many many years. There are people in our country that hate whites and abuse them and worse still, kill them, (terrorists they are called), but you don’t see sportsmen lining up against this behaviour. Your cause is a worthy one, building resentment amongst the middle ground who have borne no malice is not going to help your cause. Edited by Eaglecoops (22 Dec 2020 11.35am) Fair. And you don't have to apologise on the behalf of idiots. What I'm saying is recent political events/shifts such as Brexit, Boris, Trump, BLM protests, anti-BLM protests have given the vocal idiotic minority a louder voice. I don't think there is a single person who doesn't want to see terrorism erradicated.

and so how long will it be before John Wayne and James Bond are re-classified to 18 for violence etc towards women. In fact the BBFC will have a hell of a job when you look back as far as the cowboy films portrayal "First nation" people and women. Enough is enough that was then...this is now. More nonsense this time from the British Film Censor. Ming the Merciless *Flash Gordon 1980) is racist. Well yeah if you are from the planet Mongo you might be offended. Poor old Max Von Sydow he played Jesus and now gets branded with this. Anyway "Gordon's alive" but for how long he was white male and blonde "get him off".

What, you mean apart from all those who said if you don’t actively support BLM then you are by definition a racist or had you forgotten about that part of the campaign? To my knowledge, no-one has said that. Myself, and others have suggested that if you actively boo taking the knee before a game, you are likely to be thought of as a racist. I don't actively support gay rights but no-one has ever suggested that I am homophobic. If I booed at a Gay Rights event then people would assume I was homophobic. You seem intent on being a victim. How you are perceived by others is a reflection of your words and actions. They are both under your control. If you don't want to be thought of as a racist (rightly or wrongly), don't make statements or carry out actions that are likely to be considered racist.

On social media large amounts of people were targeted with threats such as 'if you don't display the BLM banner then you are racist'. Or if people had 'friends' who were not supportive of BLM, then they were told to unfriend them or be considered racist.

My thoughts are to do with this thread and the overt booing of our players (and the opposition) taking the knee before a game.

The events this year before the logos on the shorts and the kneeling is a lot different to a gay rights event mate. Considered racist by who? By people who refuse to acknowledge the objections to the kneeling isn’t towards the people or with a racist intent? There are a number of things they could do before matches that could actually have some words and context but instead we have this modern idea that a gesture changes the world, a bit like lighting a candle when 30 people get blown up or stabbed in the street.

Women have held extremely important roles in espionage in the past. It would be interesting to see how some of the more hard line feminist groups approach the matter. Diversity amongst the workforce certainly brought in a skill set and an approach to work that many males wouldnt have been able to use to deliver success.

My point was in response to the increase in ill-feeling I've personally felt over the last few years. People (idiots) geuninely thought Brexit was voting brown people out of the country. I've heard that with my own ears. Which point have I missed? Genuine question.
