However, on the politics, Willo is invariably, horribly incorrect.

As Arthur Askey used to say "Ay-Thang-yaw" !

Such a waste of money. Even her own family didn't want all this nonsense.

Cost of the Thatch's funeral £10 million.
'Unavoidable' cuts to Arts Council England £11.6 million.

Typical left-wing rhetoric designed to indicate savage cuts.

In fact the annual budget to the 'Arts' is some £450 million and the reduction is a mere 2.5%.

Its still the state paying 10m plus to bury a rich person who divided the nation, and remains so unpopular with a significant section of the populaton that they still despise her 30 years on (and whole communities still haven't recovered from the implimentaton of her plans. Even her party were divided by the 'so called Great one', so much so they 'stabbed her' in the back to get rid of her for John Major.

With Churchill, at least he brought the nation togeather to face its darkest hours, left wing, right wing, liberals et al.

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

As has been stated many times before when this nonsense about cost is brought up.

Thatcher....Being one of the few sceptical Tories in her cabinet at the time was pivotal in securing the EU rebate for this country.

As Hague mentioned last week that has brought in 75 billion for this country....The 'left' of course have given a significant proportion of it away.

She certainly deserves this ceremonial funeral.

I'm watching it. Feeling nauseous. Ridiculously over the top for someone whose best achievement was to become the first female Prime Minister.

I'd say the left on here align themselves more with Smith or Kinnock than with Blair....Blair was too right wing for them.

They dislike any popular politician and their own favourites never become popular enough.....It's a 'of the left' thing.

The Falklands was more important than that.

Saving this country from over powerful unions and having our hand out to the IMF like Labour left us with is also more important.
