In general terms there is of course no overall pandemic approval for the draft deal, indeed wholesale and virulent oppostion to it but the PM wants the great and good to support it "In the national interest". Maybe those Conservative MPs in Parliament who will have that crucial vote might conclude that a rejection of the deal might prove cataclysmic and decide to grudgingly back the deal.My feeling is that Conservative MPs are divided between pragmatists and realists. As things stand it really is difficult to see how the deal will be approved in Parliament. I am pleased we are staying in all but name, you have to be pragmatic.

They take advice from experts and looks at the needs of people Our system is archaic and run by public school elites who only have self serving interests, people who don't live in the real world only their political bubble. The handling of Brexit has exposed how incompetent and out of touch our politicians are. That is undeniable

David Davis and Boris exposed as being spineless and Not up to the job Boris even discredited by his own family. Meanwhile w***er Corbyn sits on his hands after failing to offer much opposition to a referendum that broke election law and conservatives eating each other. Waste of space the whole lot.

What May has done seems extremely clever to me, offered a worthless brexit (in the trade bloc permanently without a say in how it's run), if there is a second referendum, which I think strongly there will be, it will be based on 'in or out of the customs/union single market' (which the first one should have been on - or it should have been made clear that's what brexit would involve), not in or out of the EU itself which was deceptively vague bcos there has to be some formal relationship, and the country will vote to stay in the trade bloc imho

'A week is a long time in politics' Who would have thought a week ago that the UK would remain in the EU in all but name, subject to their rules and paying 60 billions for the privilege? To remain would obviously be far better for us so can't happen as it is Westminster. If Mrs May were to call an election she could well win with labour votes, mine included much as I detest their social policies.
