I just think SP is ruining our club by not investing in more players when we obviously need them. When we are linked with players they are from clubs that were relegated and these players were not good enough to keep those clubs in the PL last season. I am by no means a financial genius, but i fail to see where this is all Parish's fault . He cant invest the kind of money you are talking about for players because he simply does not have that kind of money , the Americans do and they are refusing to stump up and invest . Parash is a minority shareholder at this stage and Chairman and has done a great job of keeping us in the premier League on a limited spend . To tell the truth i dont think id want Palace to have unlimited spend every window .( look at Everton ) That has never been the Palace way , i know we are short on players but we are getting there slowly by buying cheap and selling high . As long as the money is reinvested in the squad im happy with that. Im not as you put it a Parish man im a Palace man and always have been and i have always supported Palace through the good and bad times . I remember walking from Croydon on a Wednesday night in the pissing rain because i didnt have the 2 pence bus fare only to find out it was postponed when i got there . You need to relax mate and enjoy the ride you should know better at your age Palace isn't going to change now . It probley never will .

In the Lyon programme, our chairman stated that the club were trying hard to get ONE OR TWO more over the line (after Lerma). Franca is the ONE and I suspect Adams may be the TWO. More than that and we're looking at loans hence all the noise about Hall from Chelsea. Just thought id have a look & in a funny kind of way, you are both right. This is taken from his opening post on this thread on 25th June . . . "We have around £30m to spend if Zaha goes this increases to around 70m as Wilf would have been on around £10m a season over 4 years so that equates to £40m."
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Hi Dazza, me old mucker, i know its Sunday but any news, congratulations on being first to say Franca done deal, 24 hours in front of Romano, nice Dazza had been saying done deal for over two weeks, when it wasn’t. It is purely guesswork, like him saying Wilf had re-signed for us and that it would be announced that same week.

This would allow palace to sign a further 2 players for say £20m on 5 year deals which including wages would come to £40m. Things should start to take shape in the next 2 weeks. Do not worry their will not a mass Exodus of players despite what you read online & we will be asking for big money Guehi as an example would £70m or £60m. Edited by dazza (25 Jun 2023 1.03pm)
