He is being squeezed from all sides, and the manoeuvring to replace him is already apparent. Who replaces him will be very interesting. Have they run out of Chardonnay in Turo? You are being apocalyptic considering yesterday the employment figures were at record high, supermarkets have said Christmas will be fine and Lidl announced they are paying their staff over £10 per hour.

Lord Frost has been told the Northern Irish public do not back him in negotiations with the EU as he seeks to tear up the Brexit agreement. In an interview on BBC Radio Ulster it was put to the Brexit minister that "poll after poll" showed the public backed keeping the protocol as it was. In fact, why is this taking place, at all? Big increases in NI and Ireland trade, the safety of the GF agreement, single market membership, NI is a solitary winner of brexit.

Edited by Badger11 (17 Nov 2021 11.54am) Lidl have paid over £10 an hour for years Badger, I have commented on it before on here, nothing to do with brexit. But fair play to a European company, thats why workers rights under EU law were needed over here back in the day.

By the way, the Shell "relocation" is a one off special situation unrelated to Brexit, and down to a major outside investor making demands about streamlining their structure. Only 7 jobs will actually relocate. So no comfort there for the Brexiteers. Edited by Wisbech Eagle (17 Nov 2021 11.58am)

Edited by Badger11 (17 Nov 2021 11.54am) That surprised me as there are steep food price rises and shortages (Tesco no milk this week). One of the many unemployment figures but 4.6% is nothing great and excludes many actual unemployed.
