good post - we're suffering bcos we didn't reinvest enough of the Wan Bissaka money last season - we got away with it parking the bus all season but we let the squad stagnate, esp midfield. I think Parish has got the same ambitions you expressed, but the yanks going cold and the hold ups with the stadium have put the brakes on more than him just thinking of survival season to season.

Roy is now even favourite to be the next manager to leave on Betfair. I think somebody possibly knows something that we don’t know.

Would love to know what really happens with the Yanks. I mean $7 billion net asset value. All our issues could be swept aside for 5% of that.

Don't think anything will happen if (probably more "when" Leicester beat us comfortably today, but zero points/goals against Sheffield Utd on January 2nd - the board has to take swift action and replace our manager.

I believe that the agreement is that all shareholders will inject funds in proportion to their shareholding so it's more likely to be Parish that holds up investment

Who? Whoever's on Steve Parish's list. I'm sure every contingency has been covered, and sacking Roy won't be a knee jerk reaction

It's very simple. Look at it logically. A chap in his 70's, is not going to be the same guy in his prime. To assume the players looks at Roy in his 70's compared to say Roy in his 50's the same, is crazy. There are exceptions, of course. Even Sir Alex knew when to step aside at 71. We rely too much on Zaha - should have cashed in last summer, invested in two replacement players. We need a manager with a 3 year plan and a budget that works accordingly. I said before, from Roy, to parish to PVA the whole attitude and mindset is wrong. Parish is looking at it as a business. Roy is now a yes man. Players are just accepting a wage each week. The manager should be demanding more from the chairman, the chairman should excited by the manager and the players should be performing for the fans each week. This isn't happening. Roy needs to go now. A new manager needs to come in and see out the season, assessing who he has available, who he needs and who he doesn't need. The chairman has to back him on this project and allow the summer coming up to be that change, with at least 4 new signings. That January, amend where needed, the following summer, the last of the big moves and then look forward. Our goal each season should be to achieve premier status in record time. IE when we are mathematically safe and to enjoy a cup run. That's the positive way of saying survive a relegation scrap. We don't want top 5, we just want a team that want top 5. Man.U could easily afford to do whatever they liked in regards to matters with management we simply cannot, due to funds and survivability, I doubt very mush our players are looking at Mr Hodgson in the way you suggest quite the opposite I imagine their attitude is that as the same as every other manager and former player he meets before and after every game, it appears they all love to chat to him to me, it's seems that you're just another fan who's fallen into the black hole of doom.

He could be replaced at any time because he's been helping us out since that Dutchman ferked everything up, if the club decide to do it now (which I hope they don't) then I hope the new man is allowed the sufficient funds needed to strengthen properly.

If Big Sam had stayed I think we would be a top 8-10 team now.
