You are stating the obvious. But it is your assertion that the Tories are to blame for the debt which is yet another lie. You also criticise them for trying to manage the debt. That is dumb.

What do you make of this then?

Will the Local Elections on the 4th be an indicator as to the size of the rout that labour will suffer in the General Election?

We have now sunk to a depth at which the restatement of the obvious is the first duty of intelligent men. [Orwell]

Did anyone else hear Diane Abbott's car crash interview on LBC this morning?

When it is available will post it. It will scare you that the Shadow Home Secretary was talking.

Meanwhile in strong and stable land...

May to be investigated by ethics committee?

Not really going to do Corbyn any favours though is it? SWP & Communist Party cheering him on.

As for May, that's a difficult one, it certainly isn't ideal having her husband working for Capital. BUT most senior politicians will have partners in jobs that could arguably benefit from them being in government. She has put her own investments in a blind trust, which is the correct thing to do, as for her husband, I am not sure what the answer is, should he quit his job? They could then both be unemployed in 5 weeks!

I thought she only made whale sounds.

The thing that irritates me most about her is when she's under pressure or wrong she lowers the volume of her speech to pour out more sententious garbage. She thinks she's tutoring the interviewer and viewers.

Ladies and gentleman (both CIS and non-CIS), this is the Shadow Home Secretary spectacularly ballsing up explaining Labours 'flagship' Policing policy:

At first I thought she was having a bit of a moment that could happen to anyone. Then it just got progressively worse and worse

This is the primary reason why we can't have Labour.

They are just not up to the job.

So this charade of the far left taking over the Labour party is soon to end.

If nothing else, the rabid support for this exercise in cloud cuckoo land', has shown just how little the activists on the far left actually care about the British working class.

All they have done is ensure more years of Tory rule.

I have mixed feelings....I'm a Ukipper and would actually like them to become a 'working class' party with certain right wing values....which I know is the direction Nuttall is going in.

But give me the Tories every time over the CND idealogs who want to give up our nuclear option, beg that America protects us or throw themselves to the whims of Russia and China.

There was an interesting article in The Observer suggesting that big losses by Labour would actually strengthen the left's influence in the party. According to the paper's analysis, the most left-wing Labour MPs have the biggest majorities and will therefore still be around and will account for a bigger proportion of the opposition than now. (If you can call it opposition, that is.)

The bias of anything you post is always in question.

The trouble for you is that people know that LAbour are not a party for middle England or even the average working man. They are more interested in minority interests and hippy trippy ideology.

We were discussing government borrowing actually but I'm not debating anything with you.
