Interesting - The UK cannot just leave the EU, it has to negotiate an exit over a two year period, possibly longer if the Referendum result is close enough to appeal the decision or force a recount etc (so say two years and six weeks).

Which I guess makes sense, given the UK has obligations to the EU it has already given notice to undertake etc.

Still, interesting times and all that.

Just out of interest, how can Norwegian Air be the fastest growing budget airline in Europe if it's so hard to trade within the EU if you're outside it, and if the forecasts of more expensive travel is to be believed?

Norway is part of the European Trade Agreement (effectively its 'partially EU').

I sent off my ballot yesterday. I voted 'Leave'.

Remain will win.

In a fit of pique I put a slightly-too-large amount of cash on 'Bremain' to get over 55% of the vote. Got 13/5, now it's down to 2/1. Just to make smug Cameron's face slightly more tolerable on June 24th when he squeaks through to victory once again.

Its interesting to see your perspective, given you're a UK citizen living and working with the Hun. What happens to you, if the UK leaves, do you have to get a visa, sign up to the Wehrmacht or will the liberal EU just say, f**k it, we'll keep 'em in case there is another war.

Johnny will be rounded up, put in a plane, and jettisoned somewhere over the channel on June 24th.

Well done for voting "Leave".

Regards a win for "Remain", this is by NO way a foregone conclusion and I remain hopeful of a BREXIT.
I have spoken to a helluva lot of people about the referendum and the vast majority are voting to 'Leave'. These people were across the age spectrum, they weren't old creakeys. In fact I've not come across many who wish to 'Remain' !

For anyone still unsure how to vote:

If 5 mins of smug Germans insulting and taking the p*ss out of the British doesn't get you to vote 'Leave', nothing will.

Martin Lewis is running a poll. Small numbers but pretty conclusive. Maybe a reflection of the the population that follow him?

You surprise me, Willo. I thought you'd be backing Cameron.

The reason I think it will be 'Remain':

1. The bookmakers are pretty sure, and they're right more often than the pollsters*

2. Even I, a hardened Brexiter who still thinks we should be building dreadnoughts and maintaing a foothold in Rhodesia, thought twice before putting my cross in the box. 'Am I really going to do this?' I asked. I did. But I reckon a LOT will bottle it.

3. I think 'Brexiters' are a loud minority. Like the Jock Nats, they shout the loudest but don't have the numbers.

4. It's all about the undecideds. Especially Labour-voting undecideds. 'Leave' is for people who really care about the issue. I don't think the undecideds do care (or they wouldn't be undecided) and I think they're more likely to be swayed by the Bank of England, the Treasury, the IMF, etc.

5. The status quo has an in-built advantage in any referendum of this sort.

6. If Cameron - who will have access to all kinds of private polling we hear nothing about - thought there was a genuine possibility of losing the referendum, he'd have found a way to wriggle out of it. The slippery little worm.

*Apart from, er, Corbyn. And Leicester. But otherwise, they're pretty reliable.

The odds have come in on Betfair this week about leaving, but it's still odds on remain. Interestingly they think that Russia beating England in the first Euro 2016 group match and us leaving the EU are the same.

It's worth remembering that Glastonbury starts on the Referendum date so there's 200,000 potential in voters who most likely won't have got their postal votes sorted. Also, our group games will have finished that week and if we've failed to qualify I can see a lot of "sod 'em" votes.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

One of my housemates ideologically backs Brexit but wants to work in finance when he's older.

Thus he has voted remain.

I reckon vast swaths of unsure people will remain.

I have never heard my mum say anything but pro-Brexit arguments and she says we should remain as well.
