It is very much an informal lockdown. "Be sensible" what sort of advice is that when half of people in shops seem to have discarded masks, and no-one is challenging them ? Tories the party of business ? No, the Tories are in the business of partying,. That's pretty good.

Getting back to the unvaccinated...........my Cousin works in a London Hospital. So a broad range of people from pure blood to those who have had 2 shots? And no problem, feel free to have my share of the vaccine.

Haha yeah, what exactly does 'pure blood' mean anyways I highly doubt you've gone your entire life without having some kind of jab. Those people do exist, but they're rare, in both senses of the word.
Did you know? 98.0000001% of people are morons. |

So frustrating. 31 beds and all that staff time that could be better used elsewhere. But you don't understand! Being able to do what they believe is right is more important than freeing up beds for those waiting in the ambulances outside, which in turn could be rushing someone to hospital with a heart attack, who in turn dies at home because of the delay. You gotta get your priorities right, ain't yah! Edited by Wisbech Eagle (16 Dec 2021 6.00pm)

Natural immunity alone as a defence against Covid, especially the variants, is a myth. It wanes with time, and is boosted by vaccination. It's a fig leaf of an excuse not to get vaccinated, and not any kind of reason.

This gives the league a great opportunity to take a lead and demonstrate what needs to be done. Tell the clubs that unvaccinated players cannot train with the vaccinated, or play in matches, as the risk of them catching Covid is too high, and the league wants to play it's part in helping the NHS. Clubs should still be able to field teams, using reserves and juniors if needed. Still pay them their basic wages, but not bonuses. I wonder if the PL will adopt something like this if we start seeing too many cancellations?

The more the vaccinated screech about me getting vaccinated to make them feel better about their own vaccine status, the more I see people posting their booster status on social media again to make themselves feel better about their own life choices & the more governments push towards mandating this stuff the more it pushes me away, Its the proverbial line in the sand. Honestly if it makes you feel better about yourself get the booster.

Its crazy somewhere along the line we have forgotten the staggering majority of people get over this virus without even knowing they have it. Others its a cold/flu. Protect the vulnerable by all means & if you feel you need the vaccine go for it but lets not turn the fear rhetoric upto 1000
