You just get better it can be a few days, months or even years. I felt the need to be distanced I've no idea why but I haven't had a cold in 20 years. Who would have thought that a virus would throw an entire nation into a hysterical stasi state.
It's an interesting point. I remember that I started to get hayfever really bad in my mid twenties, then one summer it was dreadful, really bad. After that hayfever didn't seem to affect me much until my thirties and at that point they had these amazing products against it.....and before anyone makes the easy point the development cycle would have been the traditional route.

I thought that was the point of the vaccine. If someone has been going around without a mask since this turned up then they have likely caught or been exposed to this virus more times then you could shake a stick at it.....they probably have very strong immune levels. If they are ffp3 masks I'd perhaps concede that, if wore correctly, there was a point to some mask usage in high people dense areas. However, it's essentially cloth for the vast majority....but we have travelled down this road many a time.
FFP2s are the lowest bar, from the research I've been prompted to explore. And yes the vaccine will obviously help but personally it makes sense to me to use all available tools to reduce how much infection I get, when I get it. And also to be courteous to others, frankly. But as you say, only really makes sense in high density, indoor situations where you're spending longer than a couple of minutes in there.

Actually to read of HM opposition voting for Johnson because it is 'patriotic' really takes the biscuit. Patriotic? To vote for him? How about being patriotic and fulfilling the oppositions constitutional duty to oppose the government. One hundred tories did.

They are going to catch it regardless at some point, as are you. You really don't get it, do you? It's not a question of if. It's a question of when, and how badly. Anything we can do, all of us, acting in our mutual interests, to spread the impact and lessen the load on the NHS, is what matters. Not whether someone's "personal freedoms" have been ruffled so much they feel the need to show the world how macho they are.

The politeness point carries the most weight with me.....but just how long is this expected to go on? Personally I'd hope that anyone physically vulnerable stays away from high density areas.....but as some of us have said, the young and healthy catching a mild version is probably realistically the best long term scenario.

They are a search engine which allows people to find things.

Mmmm....strange then how Al Gore was so celebrated for the same....just how long did the Democrats go on about that election and what was it....'hanging chads'? With Gore, there was evidence of a machine malfunction that needed to be investigated. That was real. With Trump, there was no evidence of any organised election fraud. That was a conspiracy theory.
