Here is the Prime Minsiter's statement on the matter "This morning I had another talk with the German Chancellor, Herr Hitler, and here is the paper " Well I suspect that the Prime Minster has managed to unite the country Remain or Brexit I think we are all going to hate the deal. Just listening to the media and most folk who claim to be in the know think May has no chance of getting this through Parliament. I would love to know what the EU really think. If they never wanted a deal then well played because Mrs May will take the blame for this not them. If they do want a deal they have miscalculated. Unless she pulls off a miracle Mrs May is toast and the new PM may not be a Remainer in which case the EU may regret not offering May a better deal in the first place. Edited by Badger11 (13 Nov 2018 7.35pm) So Mrs May could be doing a good job for remain in limiting the damage to almost nothing and in fact even more closely aligned to the EU. The tories and the EU, it will never end, next March is just the start.

You would have to ask Boris why he did it I was wondering if when he originally struck the deal there was some form of quid pro quo. Historically TFL had agreed not to make any redundancies and it had lots of people sitting at home on pay but not working. Not the most accommodating Union. Boris shouldn't have agreed it but he wouldn't take on the bullying unions and their threats.

BBC is reporting a deal is done and the Maybot is now in overdrive to convince the cabinet. I wonder if in 30years time we will find out that this deal was done months ago and was held back for political reasons? Chances are I wont be around so I have to rely on you youngsters to cry foul. Snap.

But I think you're right....ultimately there is probably no consensus large enough for anyone view to succeed easily.....It's up for grabs and I have little idea what will happen. But whatever happens, there will be political blood on the floor.
