From what I’ve seen che adams certainly puts in his shift on the pitch. Surely that is what fans want to see. Ok he’s not AJ or wright but will bring effort and commitment and some skill. I'd sign Adams tomorrow.

Yes have to agree with you there ,from what i have seen from him he definitely put in a good shift and gives his all . Good pace and good in the air , which we are lacking .

I'd sign Adams tomorrow. Agreed. And if anyone says he isn’t a decent finisher , then take a look at his goal he scored against Sheffield W. Perfect position, centre of six yard , perfect finish.

I am late 70s Croydon Trucker so have been supporting Palace 70 years. So I dont give a f**k what other fans think of my opinions. I just think SP is ruining our club by not investing in more players when we obviously need them. When we are linked with players they are from clubs that were relegated and these players were not good enough to keep those clubs in the PL last season.

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn |

We have invested in players, and Parish is not the guy to spend what we don't have. Look how well that went for Goldberg and Jordan. There certainly have been holes in the squad that needed filling, but we have survived. If we somehow keep hold of Olise and sign a striker, a winger and a defender, we will look like a decent squad. Tompkins is fit again (in the squad yesterday) and Mitchell is rumoured to be in contention for the opening game next week - I don’t actually rate either of them as first team starters now. Hughes will be injured for longer but with the arrival of Lerma and the progress of Ahamada, I don’t see him being used as anything but a substitute or starting in the Carabao Cup games. Olise is the only real negative and could be out for a while. I’m excited to see França join and think he will be very good for us. There’s still plenty of time left yet and if we can secure Lewis Hall, a new decent right back and sell Mateta and replace him with a better CF then it will have been a decent window (keeping hold of Guehi, Andersen, Olise, Doucoure & Eze are of huge importance though). Dazza said we have £70M to spend if we don’t renew Zaha, we’ve only spent £17M of that so far on França so that leaves us £53M !!!
In the Lyon programme, our chairman stated that the club were trying hard to get ONE OR TWO more over the line (after Lerma). Franca is the ONE and I suspect Adams may be the TWO. More than that and we're looking at loans hence all the noise about Hall from Chelsea.

Some would call it a little obvious baiting but not me. Fabrizio also said Franca deal only completed last week.. but we’ll ignore that bit.

In all your 70 years of supporting palace what has been the most long standing successful period in the top flight? And under what owner? Just curious.
