yes but it's too late now, the Indian variant is well established in the UK, so it's not going to make any difference at all as it's only coming into effect on the 1st of June!

Many of my friends won't travel this year because they are scared I will but I do not want to rub shoulders with someone from a red country. Heathrow needs to demonstrate they are doing their best otherwise they will be whining about lack of passengers. One more point

Many of my friends won't travel this year because they are scared I will but I do not want to rub shoulders with someone from a red country.

Heathrow needs to demonstrate they are doing their best otherwise they will be whining about lack of passengers.

Isn’t the ‘Indian variant’ well established in Asian areas in Britain? Those northern towns like Bolton and the boroughs in London that have a lot of Asians? And after that it’s the people refusing the vaccine in hospital. I’m so bored of this bullsh1t I can’t remember the last time I watched the news properly on the tv, and that’s not a good thing. People aged 33yos and over can now get the jab I think the next 4 weeks will be telling. The at risk group now is the 18-30's as they wait to be offered the vaccine but are still socialising. The quicker we do this group the better after that those who refuse it "quite frankly my dear I don't give a damn". One more point

Agreed. In theory the vulnerable people in that group should have been vaccinated already so the rest not very at risk but until they get the jab I guess the virus will continue to spread. this is the group that mixes the most.

The normal warning signs for an unsafe treatment are flashing red but the government, the media and those in charge of our medical due diligence turn a blind eye and continue to advocate for yet more vaccines. Now they are planning to “jab” children who are at no risk from this.

Why would you take a treatment that would alter your DNA, has no long term safety data, is still in trials (so cannot be licensed) where the manufacturers are indemnified (cannot be blamed) and you have a much higher chance of vaccine damage or death than of dying from COVID.

Yes it is too late, However most of those travelling from India are returning residents and British Citizens, questions need to be asked as to why they travelled to India during a pandemic. What makes it more galling is, it is there’re communities that seem reluctant to have the vaccine

What about all of the fanfare about 'taking back control of our borders' touted for 4 years during brexit? Australia, touted by the UK government as an example nation of managing covid in an excellent way closed their borders even to their returning citizens from India. Why didn't the UK do the same?
