I've answered this from my own perspective. But I don't speak for others so you'll have to ask "them" what "they" want, yourself.

If you paid attention to anything I've said, I have no interest, involvement or anything else in BLM the organisation. The non-political movement however, is one I support.

But please, let's keep going around in circles here.

So what you are basically saying is that you don't actually have any idea what the campaign wants to achieve.
If you did, you could have spent the finger energy you just used telling me what it is.
You keep telling us that BLM the football campaign has nothing to do with BLM the organisation, but how can you tell if you can't even explain what the former wants to achieve?

I don't think you or anyone else who supports taking a knee has any clue what it aims to do other than ruin football with wishy washy politics.

Only half of my work colleagues and a couple of neighbours but as I said dont let facts affect your opinion of me. What bits are incorrect and the police bit is true btw. Look at the aggro for stopping the mp who in the end went to jail and the athlete who bitched and edited the video. That's gone quiet as well. Compare that to the effort and time spent on the court case tr stood outside.

Your post referred to a "he". Which, if this was referring to me, is inaccurate and you can't say otherwise, because you know sod all about me

But please have this exact conversation with your neighbours and work colleagues, I don't believe you'd be so brazen with this opinion with real life black people, that you have any sort of healthy relationship with anyway

I find it particularly insulting to be asked to repeat yourself in a text conversation, the answer is there if you wish to be bothered to look/remember. But you're not, so I'm not going to bother repeating myself.

That and an old boss of mine ingrained in me to not reply to questions where you know people know the answer. Encourages them to think and pay attention.

Many of us on here are asked to repeat or have to repeat what we’ve said, but you won’t. It took you longer to reply to all the people on here saying you won’t than if you just did.

I've already answered it buddy as have the links posted earlier, Gareth Southgate, Harry Kane etc, but you chose not to read or digest any of those. Maybe ask Wilfried Zaha his thoughts, they'd be more relevant than mine anyway.

A random thought I had from watching the dross served up as football on Saturday; the Black Lives Matter lettering on the banners used by the club was in the club's own font and branding. Surely if they were in support of a political party, they'd use the font and branding of that party?

Having an open conversation about racism with a black person doesnt make you brazen. It allows my opinion to be heard by someone who doesnt where ear defenders! And that's the point really isnt it, shut down an opinion you dont agree with.

Yeah I prefer to keep repeating myself to say that I won't repeat myself.

No. More like distinguishing between "pub talk" internet forum posts and real life conversation. Genuinely interested if these are views that would be proudly shared with neighbours and work colleagues.

Lovely attempt to try and put words in my mouth though, very transparent.

Well, I get what you mean, and I suppose we all try not to offend other people, but how is what any of us have said here offensive?
I'm just asking someone to explain the justification and the logic behind taking a knee and doing it under a BLM banner when you are not BLM...apparently.

Anyone getting offended by that has issues.

What you do in your free time on Clapham Common is your business.

Joking aside, I believe climate change is the biggest challenge we face now, and will blight the lives of future generations.

However if you were Stephen Lawrence's mother, you might feel racism is a bit of an issue too.

Bear in mind where this started - my father in law went to college in the South of the US where there was still racial segregation in the 1960s. Taking the knee is a yank phenomenon but there is certainly enough racism, even today, in blighty, to justify this act before Prem games.

Deal with it, snowflakes.

And what is your role in addressing the situation?
