Baronness Warsi has quit due to the governments policy on Gaza. I hadn't realised they had a policy!

They don't and they shouldn't. Nowt to do with us.

A pointless gesture but it gets her good PR coverage. Even labour are arse licking her as it means they can have a pop at the opposition simultaneously.

In other Gaza news, video games are the new propaganda:

What's even more depressing is that his statement has garnered over 8000 likes and almost 2500 shares on facebook. So it's not some wild, crackpot point of view in Israel, this guy is the deputy speaker of the Knesset ffs! This is mainstream opinion.

And now you can bomb Gaza on your andriod device too, if watching the airstikes with drinks and snacks [Link] isn't enough any more: [Link]

Exactly how sick can these f*ckers get?

Keep up the self righteousness, Seth. It must be lovely for you and the rest of Lefty Mafia to have a circle jerk over these articles in the lefty press.

As I said before, a lot of his is unpalatable to us but you and I have not spent our lives in Israel, not known the constant threat of rockets, kidnappings or suicide bombs. We haven't lived through the Intifada's. The kind of aggression dealt out to the ordinary people of Israel by Hamas is defining the action carried out by the IDF.

It is very easy to criticise when you have not been subjected to life in war zone.

Must be a great holiday you're having if you're still on here w*nking over your keyboard.

Dodge the issue you don't want to address Seth, just like the rest of the Lefty Mafia.

Also, read posts properly. I said yesterday that I was off on holiday tomorrow. I haven't left yet.

Anyway, I leave you to your continued circle jerk. I imagine in a weeks time there will 200 pages of 'sickening' stories from the Guardian and Independent posted on here.

Once again you have mistaken me for someone who gives a microscopic iota of sh*t about any aspect of the putrid torrent of diarrhoea which leaks from your mind, through your spittle-flecked keyboard and onto these boards.

I would wish you a happy and healthy jaunt but am unable to. Instead I am overwhelmed with sympathy and pity for those poor benighted souls who are unfortunate enough to be sharing whatever blighted destination you have chosen for your outing.

Please, please don't hurry back.

She's nothing if she didn't go to Harrow, Eton or Gordonstone and since none of them had girls at that time (though I vaguely get the feeling one of them does now!) she is a token female ethnic minority. Probably gives the other tories something to pat themsleves on the back about and have a god old chortle about in their club/mason hall.

My partner is Jewish and as such we have a few relatives in Isreal. Her cousins live in Ashdod - which has been targetted a few times according to their facebook page.
I never really pay much attention to them because her family are a family of Zionists and we have fallen out several times when I explain that I don't believe they have a right to claim some extraneous territory from someone else in the name of religion. It reminds me of the crusades in some respects - that's my opinion.
I have to say though that even her family are now saying 'look at what Isreal are doing' and 'I feel like blocking their posts on Facebook' - about the family in Isreal.
The cousins' in Ashdod facebok page is either full of abuse for being Isreali or (basically Jewish American people) saying things like 'I stand with Isreal'. I don't know if this is interesting or throwing any light on the matter.
One thing is for sure: this is just as divisive as it has ever been and I can't help but think that the Jewish patriotism/nation element is the main problem. Should I claim my right to seize Bethlehem as it is the birthplace of Jesus and kill everyone in my way if they don't let me? The whole thing is frankly Nationalism gone vastly wrong, with similar circumstances to the early half of the 20th century.

I got into a heated argument where I disputed that a type of energy is equal to the mass multiplied by the square of the speed, multiplied by the constant 1/2.

The other bloke said I was being anti-kinetic.

Israel has broken my heart: I’m a rabbi in mourning for a Judaism being murdered by Israel

I've always been proud of Israel, but the brutal Gaza assault requires Jews worldwide to be honest, not nationalist

Meanwhile, just down the road, things are seriously hotting up out of the mass media spotlight.

Robert Fisk:"...the Islamists’ arrival in Lebanon and the prospect of a mini-civil war around Arsal – and perhaps as far as Tripoli – could have repercussions far graver than the Gaza war"
