Of course not. You judge people by their deeds, not their reputation. The deeds of the President are likely to be of more importance than those of an ex-President.

Anyone who describes this as a war is either a frigging idiot or a liar. It's insane hubris. You can't win a 'war' with a fecking airborne virus you....man, what's the point....it's what the guy wants. This is how I get. They see no reasoning.

When an epidemic has the potential to claim millions of lives and requires a world-wide effort to beat it, then describing it as a war is entirely justified. It's the best way for people accross the world to visualise the scale of the effort required to conquer it. We are winning the war. We have developed new weapons and techniques. Unfortunately, some of the troops are refusing to fight. In other wars, such people would be shot, so consider yourself lucky that you might just be ignored for a while. You know, I really thought Melchett was fictional. I thank you for proving me wrong.

Ironically, it’s the people that fetishise the world wars and like to think they would do their duty for Queen and country that seem to have the biggest problem being asked to wear a piece of cloth over their nose and mouths while doing the weekly shop and don’t seem to want to take very simple steps to protect their fellow countrymen. Plastic patriots one and all. Enter Blackadder....

There’s nobody else you’d want in war and under gunfire more than a virtuous Beta male. Those Germans and Japanese wouldn’t have known what to do about them with their careful steps, in hiding, and outfit matching face cloths. Stay clear when badminton is in action.

Imagine someone who bleats about their ‘freedoms’ when being asked to wear a mask to Sainsburys being conscripted to go and fight in the trenches. Absolute snowflakes, all of them.

Nearly all in supermarkets now look like they would more than Matt Baker, Dermot O'Leary and that useless Welsh curly haired male character in Motherhood with that funny Diane Morgan. (He’s also in BBC’s Bodyguard as a home office traitor helping to get Keeley Hawes blown up) I’m just pointing out your illogical nonsense that unmasked people are scared. You could argue stupid or ignorant in some settings. Not walking along an empty pavement or driving alone in the car masked up. You’d find the regiment would knock any nervous anxiety out of you.

Where did I say they were scared? It’s not wanting to suck up and take a minor personal inconvenience to protect your fellow countryman. Imagine if they were asked to go and face gunfire instead.
