Hardly but she never said why. She was right in my opinion, looking at the women we have in office now. You can forget about women's role as mothers and carers with this lot, they are more cruel than men, cause distress without any problem and are ruthless. Can't get rid of them, either. I did laugh at Merkel's resignation last week, post-dated to 2021 !!!!! Probably pleased we left the EU in 2019 but became a puppet of it.
If you're going to make long term decisions about the future you should have skin in the game. Also no one person should ever have total power over anything....I like the US constitution in this regard. Though on the other hand it is a policy that leads to stagnation and uncertainty.

By leaving the EU we reduce our liability to its folding down to below five percent of GDP. There will be an adjustment that's for sure, some better and some worse......You're just apart of the fear mongering on the remain side. No doubt you will be nowhere to be seen once your predictions are shown to be significantly over the top. Like many others. Democracy will either win here or it won't.

But I would call it unethical. The referendum was sold to us on the basis that it was a one vote off. It was not sold on.....'oh you didn't know what you were voting for'....'oh, if you believe the lies from one side, it's wrong....but if you believe the lies from the other...it's fine'. You need to ask yourself would you be calling for one if you had won the vote? If Remain win....is it a best of three?.....As for 'what we've learned in the last two years'.....All we have learned is that the remoaners in the media, politics and industry will constantly scream and shout and fear monger until they get their way. They won in the seventies and no revote occurred.....So sorry this is how democracy works....you win some, you lose some.....Except as we see with Trump...the left can't seem to accept that. The whole thing becomes ridiculous if we have a re-vote......A complete mockery of the idea of holding a referendum in the first place. And I believe in referendums as being more democratic than representative democracy.....but you don't hold one after the other on the same topic. You implement.....if it goes tits up, ten years later you look at it again. But I can't see us accepting freedom of movement.

That is the nature of democracy. Decisions are not static and strategy has to evolve with learning. Read your Minzberg. Don’t personally insult me.

Not a PEEP repeat Peep would be coming from these whinging remainers if the vote had been to stay in the EU. A bit like the Democrats over here marching & demonstrating because things didn't go their way.
