Anyone who describes this as a war is either a frigging idiot or a liar.

It's insane hubris.

You can't win a 'war' with a fecking airborne virus you....man, what's the point....it's what the guy wants.

Accepting the point it could never happen because one is the epitome of evil - would you say the same if it was Biden rather than Trump getting banned?

If he behaved similarly, yes, of course.

Even if he did not, it's not up to either of us. It's entirely the decision of the platform.

When an epidemic has the potential to claim millions of lives and requires a world-wide effort to beat it, then describing it as a war is entirely justified. It's the best way for people accross the world to visualise the scale of the effort required to conquer it.

We are winning the war. We have developed new weapons and techniques. Unfortunately, some of the troops are refusing to fight. In other wars, such people would be shot, so consider yourself lucky that you might just be ignored for a while.

Ironically, it’s the people that fetishise the world wars and like to think they would do their duty for Queen and country that seem to have the biggest problem being asked to wear a piece of cloth over their nose and mouths while doing the weekly shop and don’t seem to want to take very simple steps to protect their fellow countrymen.
