If you spend your whole life relying upon, or hoping for, intelligent thinking from the masses in this country, you are going to be seriously and permanently disappointed. Only today I mentioned election day to a MANAGER where I work, and they didn't even know there was an election. "Seriously?" I asked. Edited by YT (03 Jul 2024 11.52am) Unfortunately, that is a symptom of our far from perfect society.

I have already voted Reform, and I would urge everyone to do the same if they want real change. Labour will be disastrous for this country. Agreed

And you call yourself a Tory? Thatcher was the best leader the party ever had. That is merely a matter of opinion. There was much to admire, not least her steadfastness and determination, but also much to dislike.

I believe it is not our place in a proper functioning democracy to make micro tactical decisions on voting. "A vote for Reform is a vote for Labour" is hog wash. Those inclined to their politics should look no further than a vote for Reform being a vote for the view they are most closely aligned to. And nothing else. Democracy is screwed when people over think it. I could not disagree more. To vote tactically is a completely democratic thing to do. If your primary desire is to avoid an outcome and to vote tactically will achieve that then you are placing your vote where it is most effective.

I believe that you have to vote for the process. Labour will win. What the country needs is better representation for the so called right. The Tories no longer represent that. We need someone to challenge on immigration, wokery and all that comes with it. Amen to that.

Once in a thousand years or so one vote may decide the outcome in one seat but it will never decide the outcome of an election.

I've voted Tory all my life but not tomorrow. Would vote Reform but they've got no chance (if standing) in my area as labour always win with a large majority of mainly immigrants/migrants. So instead i'm gonna spoil my paper so at least when they read out the result it may count as 1 spoiled paper and I'll feel like my voice has been heard albeit on a small scale. Apart from that, get ready for 10 plus years of socialist, woke, lies, lies and damn lies folks!!

“ Things will only get BITTER”, you have been warned, and I am someone who has always voted Labour, Starmer and his crew look hopeless to me, fortunately I am in a position where very little will affect me, but do worry for my grandchildren and great grandchildren

Apart from that, get ready for 10 plus years of socialist, woke, lies, lies and damn lies folks!! I am tending towards the spoilt ballot paper as well. I have given Reform some consideration, and might still tick that box tomorrow, but I have serious issues with how they allowed themselves to be cucked by 'Hope Not Hate' and dropped candidates because they objected to them. I have never felt so despondent about an election in my life and this entire campaign as felt like watching some s*** wrestling contests when you already know is going to win and the likes of Farage and Galloway just a couple of pantomime baddies/goodies depending on your POV. Usually, I stay up to watch the coverage of the polling stations closing and all the hullalboo that goes with it. But tomorrow, I suspect I might just see the exit poll then go to bed. Literally nothing in what might happen to excite. (happy to be wrong about a Reform surge that sees them getting more votes than the Tories but that is about it). Lets see. I still stand by my assertion that the Tories have committed political suicide to enable Labour to not only win but win big so that they can take us back into the EU. I suspect this is going to be done on the back of creating an illusion of a European-wide campaign to curtail immigration. But whatever happens the implosion of the Tories since they triumphed in Hartlepool back in 2021 to what we are going to witness tomorrow is simply beyond any logical comprehension. And we are ALL being played. But anyway.....#ZEROSEATS. This time we wipe out the Tories. Next time Labour.
