Having heard the news from the PFA that players want to do this, then inspite of my objections that the symbolism has been hijacked by Anti-FA, I think it should be supported. Many of the players receive untold amounts of racist abuse on social media. If its pissing of those vile little trolls then on balanced, its worth it. Although, if its a centrally organised protest then that's completely different. Players should have the right to chose. Even Derry born McClean right to not wear a poppy should be respected to some extent - but he generally acts in a offensive and hostile manner towards the English, despite chosing to earn a living here.

Then they need to organize, approach the Premier League/FA or whoever, form some kind of group, and lobby for their right to take a knee for climate change. Of course any issue can be highlighted in this way, if is it of enough importance to society. If the right to make a meaningless gesture such as taking the knee was proportionate to the importance of the issue in question, we'd all be on our knees all the time if the issue was climate change. Compared with that, alleged racism is of no importance whatsoever.

Sweeping generalisation there, as I've said literally none of that, but carry on, you're showing more arse than myonlyfans here. How general is it.

How general is it. If you have any actual real life black friends, have this conversation with them, the picture you're painting is quite inaccurate. Compared to my viewpoint anyway. The bit about preferencial treatment by the police was particularly funny.

What exactly do they want to happen before they end their campaign? You just won't tell us will you. This is like a campaign for world peace. It is bulls***. It has no focus or real aim. It is just a pathetic gesture to satisfy feeble minds. The people who orchestrated this know what it is really about. Profit.

Joking aside, I believe climate change is the biggest challenge we face now, and will blight the lives of future generations. However if you were Stephen Lawrence's mother, you might feel racism is a bit of an issue too. Bear in mind where this started - my father in law went to college in the South of the US where there was still racial segregation in the 1960s. Taking the knee is a yank phenomenon but there is certainly enough racism, even today, in blighty, to justify this act before Prem games. Deal with it, snowflakes.

And how exactly is taking a knee going to tackle that alleged problem?

Does she think it's a bit of a problem. How about all the faceless whites killed by blacks? More racism comes via self hatred from you lot against whites than from whites against anyone else. I find it particularly insulting to be asked to repeat yourself in a text conversation, the answer is there if you wish to be bothered to look/remember. But you're not, so I'm not going to bother repeating myself. That and an old boss of mine ingrained in me to not reply to questions where you know people know the answer. Encourages them to think and pay attention.

But I don't speak for others so you'll have to ask "them" what "they" want, yourself. If you paid attention to anything I've said, I have no interest, involvement or anything else in BLM the organisation. The non-political movement however, is one I support. But please, let's keep going around in circles here.

The bit about preferencial treatment by the police was particularly funny. Only half of my work colleagues and a couple of neighbours but as I said dont let facts affect your opinion of me. What bits are incorrect and the police bit is true btw. Look at the aggro for stopping the mp who in the end went to jail and the athlete who bitched and edited the video. That's gone quiet as well. Compare that to the effort and time spent on the court case tr stood outside.
