These were your words taken from a comment in this thread a couple of days ago:- "The reality is that the judiciary is full of middle class left wingers who look down at Robinson and are lock step with the government..." An apology for suggesting I was inaccurate would be welcomed. Well that isn't 'all' but that's a mistake on my part so apology provided. I should have said neo liberals, which would be more accurate. But the system did work! Evidence was presented, mistakes admitted and corrections made. That's the right way and it applies now just as it did then. If there is any evidence of persecution etc, then present it. Just having a particular opinion doesn't count. It’s a bit tricky summing up 16 years with a link but Chris Mullin wrote well about the case.

According to our friend "Stirlingsays" the Judges all have a left wing mindset! I think though that you are probably nearer the truth and raise some interesting points, although somewhat off topic. Making the selection of Judges more transparent, inclusive and then accountable must be a good thing. I cannot though see this being on the top of anyone's political agenda for a while yet! People do not exist in a bubble. They are not machines. They are susceptible to pressures via the associations they have, be they subtle or otherwise. As suggested, they are also selected originally because they tick the right boxes.

Wrong! With "Robinson" out of the way the Police and the Courts could get on with their jobs without being concerned that a self opinionated, attention seeking rabble rouser might torpedo their work by offering guilty men an excuse to walk free.

If TR gets a fine. A fine? He deserves a medal. All these excuses in trousers aren't fit to call themselves Englishmen.

That we all form our opinions from our experiences and our associations is true of course. Judges no doubt do too but the difference is that they have been trained to know how to set personal opinion aside and look at things through the objective lens of the law. If you have ever experienced the way a Judge can cut through the crap and get to the heart of an issue, as I have several times, as a plaintiff I hasten to add, then you won't have failed to be impressed.

Whether or not "Robinson" is a racist is not an issue in this case. Never mind they were only little slappers who asked for it. That's very nasty suggestion that I have heard no-one, on here or elsewhere, actually make. Whomever pressed on this would be hammered by the state. The only ones "hammered" by the state are those who commit crimes. It just happens to be someone who is deemed to be the enemy of the state. "Robinson" has not been deemed "an enemy of the state" He is just a very naughty boy! [ Edited by Wisbech Eagle (09 Jul 2019 2.54pm)
