For clarity, my FACT about 3 wins in the last 23 for Hughton was bang on. PZ and Painter: don't give yourselves heart attacks because you fail (again) to get one up on me.

I'm just too good for you x

For what we have spent under Roy he has done exactly what is expected of him. Aside from Watford all the teams above us have invested heavily in the last few years and the fact we finished so close to the likes of West Ham and Everton after they bankrolled their managers says a lot. As much as it can be unexciting to watch Roy is very good at grinding out ugly results when needed. Had we not been flirting with relegation we may seen more expansive football like in the last couple of games, but to be honest we were flattered by coming up against two of the league's worst defences. When you consider that Roy missed Zaha for a number of games and didn't have a fit, scoring striker until January then it seems a bit unfair to be too critical. A small improvement in our home form and we'll be circling the top 8.

You're the one with the yellow card.

That's to sensible an answer for this thread. Nothing you can say will alter the fact that there are certain conceited know alls that will never admit that Hodgeson is one of the best managers we have had in our last 6 years in the Premiership.

I agree, he is one of the best managers we've had.

That's what you get with a negative policy of 17th place or higher every year.

Good spot. Didn't break the rules though, I'm just not liked.

Still nobody has been unable to explain, how they come to the conclusion that Roy is negative.

After a season, where we got more points than ever before and scored more goals than ever before in the last six seasons in the Premier.

You won't get an answer to that one.

Not an educated one anyway.

Choosing players on obedience rather than form or talent (see interview with Lewington)

Persisting with PVA until mid April when he should've be dropped in October after Bournemouth away
