Am I detecting that you listen to Sharpio?

As for the trade policies, I shall wait and see.

He gives a well thought out reason for this but we shall see if it happens. Trump talks a lot, but often it never materialises. As you see, let's see how it pans out.

Kind of irrelevant (in this instance) as other countries have not had the advantage of exporting much of their debt (dollars) for decades now though. This is what separates the US from the rest of the world.
The advantage is now shrinking as others look for an alternative to using dollars.
If the US can no longer off-load this debt then where will it go?
This is a major problem for the US.

In other news...........US household debt is rising at a rate of 60% higher than the 'increase' in wages.
That's the real economy.

Who exactly is looking to an alternative to dollars?

China, Russia, India, Germany, France, UK, Iran, Brazil, Australia (to name a few) have all for the past few years been trading in currencies other than dollars.
The percentage of this trade in alternative currencies increases annually.

They always have....prove to me that these countries are trading significantly less in dollars than they were before.

The 'dollar' is under zero threat and I think you're just a waffle merchant on this.

I say this whilst acknowledging that we have other views on which we are aligned.

I see Gary Cohn has resigned subsequent to the bubble burst and sanctions (sorry tariffs!)

Trump must have installed a revolving door at the White House.

Well, if someone is acting like an idiot he/she is of course likely to get mostly negative media coverage. I don't suppose the media is very kind about lots of people but that does not imply bias, it may be perfectly objective.

You have no concept of objectivity. How can you tell?
