all that so he could get more money well that says alot to his nice guy approch dont it.

And you wouldn't take money into account when changing jobs, obviously......

yeah i would but if thats the case then palace could do with moving on a finding someone who wants to come here and not just play us off with their own chairman.

I think you have missed the point slightly. No manager, unless they have an affinity with our club, will choose to come here if there is a better offer from someone else.
Fans are generally not managers and vice versa.

"They got his own song 'He's just too good for you', it's quite unbelievable but when you see it and he's facing up someone - I actually feel sorry for them, 'Cos he actually is" - Ian Holloway

Eddie Howe new palace manager
2:40 AM Jan 7th via Twitter for iPhone

More great wisdom from Scowie's Twitter last week.

It was my dream to play for Palace and to make my debut. I've always played for the club so if I'm playing here, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Goodness me. Everybody seems to want things to happen instantly these days. It's all, 'I want it NOW, NOW, NOW', isn't it?

Just because EH is actually taking a couple of days to think things over (it is, after all, an important career decision he's making here), he's being labelled indecisive, 'not the man we want' and in one laughable instance 'disloyal'.

This thread is burning out of control more than a bush fire after 30 years drought. Any non-interested parties reading this must be shaking their heads in disbelief.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

CPFC2010 tell Howe to do one, anyone who can go to the Clowns, even for an interview, is Not worthy...Come on Freedman no1. Let's get a move on......!

Grow up.

Lol, at 43 being told to grow up...! Muppet

So he can't go and have an interview with another club?

Like I said...

Freedom of choice, I agree, but Charlton!! Also was not impressed with his interviews about being torn.. (no eye contact) did not look comfortable.

Like someone else said, 'if' he does go to the Clowns, let's hope they don't go up and we stay up.

I honestly think he'll stay where he is.

Exactly.

It would appear he has wasted CPFC's time without ever having any serious intention of being the club's manager.

Fingers crossed we get Keith Hill (despite Rochdale denying any approach being made).

Sweet suffering Christ.

yeah i understand your point but i just want someone who would not mind taking the job at selhurst and start us moving in the right direction both in the league and with players as time is still ticking.
