Next year post Brexit I expect the EU member states to make a number of key decisions as suggested by their President.

[Link]

I expect they will vote for closer centralised controls over the euro, finances, taxation, defence and security. This will not happen over night but they will publish a roadmap towards closer centralised integration. There is no secret to this all of this stuff is available on the EU website.

Good luck to them it's not what I would want. Once these plans are announced I do wonder how many Remainers will still be that keen in staying / re-joining.

Come to think of it how often to you hear Remain politicians State that the is no status quo. The choice here is change either outside or inside the EU, funny they forget to mention that.

Can all the remainders stop wingeing and all the leavers 'win' a bit more graciously.

Thank you, close thread, move on.

No it can’t

Primary school teachers did not need Degrees in the past

Mmmmmm....surely most basic nursing skills are little different...at least not to the extent of requiring degrees...and for where specialisation is required I have already answered.

As for degree requirements at teaching primary level....What serious improvements have degrees at primary level resulted in?...I know all about how statistics are manipulated and 'gamed'. Personally I'd say good A level results was more than enough for primary but that's just my view.

Also again, you are still comparing different professions as if they were the same.....Nursing has been carried out in this country without degree requirement since until very recently.

In my view its introduction was damaging elitist nonsense which very predictably significantly reduced applications and with the vote to leave the EU showed up those who advocated for it as rather short sighted.

Anyway, I've had my say and I at least withdraw my earlier criticism that you wouldn't engage in a discussion in and around your profession with a layman like myself.

Apparently we are going to get a Brexit 50p.

I might send one to Gina Miller and suggest she swallows it, but she shouldn't expect any change.

What do you think?

What is happening is exactly what you would predict if the elite wished to control populations.

Now, now. Can't be critical of the elected politicians you so steadfastly defend

Defend Osborne? Na....never liked him....never voted Tory while Osborne and Cameron headed the party and I'd rather vote Corbyn than for that feminist May.

I vote Ukip.

But you put out a statement that could have come directly from Osborne's north and south.
