The Nazis were careful not to speak publicly of what the SS and its offshoots were doing...though the common German army are also not completely innocent. The language used by Goebbels was careful not to reveal the crimes that were committed as even the thirty odd percent of Germans who had voted for them wouldn't have accepted them.....What the Germans did to the slavs and in turn what the slavs later on did back to them was also inhuman. The disfigurement of language is nothing new. What happens on a battlefield between soldiers is one thing....taking innocent commonly autistic children and mutilating them is another. It is satanic. Edited by Stirlingsays (17 Jun 2023 12.35am) The second highlighted phrase is an example of the first.

It's not so much what he said as the effect his words had. Telling the country they were completely safe when they weren't could, and may, have had serious consequences. I guess that was balanced against the effect that would have resulted if he hadn't said them. For which the consequences could have been far more serious.

You have now two examples of fact checks done on his comments and you still pretty much dismiss them. You have provided fact checked material to support your other arguments. But when somthing you don't like or does not fit your agenda or propaganda then you wave it away essentially. It's now been fact checked by two sources that sleepy joe made false statements and provided misinformation. Maybe you should read those fact-checkers again. They were done to try to be fair to all and, whilst they found mistakes, they are pretty nuanced in their criticism. You just want to throw mud because of your biased viewpoint and claim equivalence exists when it clearly doesn't. No one is perfect and politics is always a messy business with the opportunity for criticism of everybody available. So you enjoy it if it makes you feel better. It won't change anything.

Indeed, the deliberate fence sitting and hiding behind white coats on such an obvious situation reveals the moral vacuum here. Bill Hicks summed up the ethics of some of the marketing type rather well.
Who is hiding behind anything? I am arguing that those who are professional experts, with years of training and experience in specific fields, are going to be better able to understand and take decisions on complex issues, than non-experts posting on a football website. That simple point applies to whatever subject is under discussion.

End of the day sleepy joe made false comments and gave mis information. It was fact checked. If you are calling these fact checks into doubt then all the "fact checks" you have provided in this thread is also called into doubt. It's clear as day he made false and inaccurate statements. Are you too proud and stubborn to admit this? Can your ego take it?

You describe these as "false and inaccurate". I am prepared to be more charitable and cut some slack because of the prevailing circumstances.

That simple point applies to whatever subject is under discussion. Your central point has already been answered and shown to be waffle. There are numerous instances of 'professional experts' not only having been disastrously wrong but also involved in actual genocide....something of which, considering your ancestry, you should be well aware of. Plenty of experts involved in that one too. If you can't see the simple rights and wrongs of removing the sexual organs of children I simply don't think you qualify as a credible voice on the matter.

They are false and inaccurate statements end of. I have given you proof from fact checkers. Fact checkers which you swear by but when a fact checker checks somthing you don't like all of a sudden it's called into question. If you can't agree that with the fact checkers here then all your fact checking material you have provided previously is completely called into question. A simple I was wrong and Biden made the false statements is all that is needed here from you.
