Having PL experience does not of course guarantee survival, however I appreciate the arguments of those who have formed the opinion that a manager with very limited experience (2 years) is perhaps not the best 'Fit' for our club at this juncture where renovation is required with all the upheaval that brings.

Despite his achievements thus far, from a quick read on the Swansea forums it does seem Cooper gets criticism from some of their fans for boring football. I'll hold my hands up and say I really have no knowledge of Cooper or Ismael or what they would bring to Palace. Given Palace's transfer plan now seems to be to target top young players from the lower leagues both make some sense and I imagine both would be less demanding regarding transfers. If we move for Dyche, Howe, Lampard or Nuno, then I think we can take it that the club has money to spend as I don't think any of those candidates would come in to work with peanuts. My preferred choice would be Nuno all day long, but he won't come to us. My second choice would be Dyche as I think he knows how to get the best out of the players at his disposal and he knows how to build a team rather than a collection of individuals.

Dyche is the only sensible choice given our current squad.

Dyche is the only sensible choice given our current squad. That kind of says it all. And how limited is that? If this club is to operate at a different higher level, it is the club that needs to find the means to do so.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

This thing with Cooper, is all so obvious, in fact as it is with all of those being pushed by various media, at various times.
