Ok, so who do you think are our game changers ? My point although badly worded was trying to convey that Roy never changes the personnel at half time come what may. He clearly doesn't believe that anybody on the bench can make any sort of difference after a really poor 1st half performance and against 10 men.

... Just to be clear I think Roy is an honourable man and in his mind he is doing all he can, using all his undoubted knowledge and experience to get the right results and performances on the pitch - but it simply ain't happening..!! ... And for the the first couple of seasons that was working, but over the last 12 months performances and results have been in decline, stats don't lie; P33, W9, D7, L17, GD -24. Culminating in the last few weeks, where performances have been the worst in Roy's tenure and some of the worst and lack lustre I have witnessed. I've seen others post on here that the squad is not strong enough, not enough quality, too old etc.. I don't subscribe, agree with that, IMO it's Roy's tactics that have become too tired and he no longer seems to be able to get the best out of the players. To use a cliché - he seems to have lost the dressing room, for whatever reason. ... If Roy stubbornly hangs on I fear his time at Palace will be remembered for all the wrong reasons, similar to that of his England tenure - all people seem to remember is Iceland..!! ... Beyond that there are no doubt many young hungry, talented and ambitious Managers out there that would jump at the chance of Managing an established London premiership with a quality and "mature" squad. As i have said just look at Southampton and Hasenhüttl, no one had heard of him 2 years ago. If Southampton can do that, why can't Palace..!! ... Meantime remember on here we are all Palace and all want the same thing - the best Palace can be..!! COYP Great rational post. I'm also sad at wanting Roy out, but at some point, you have to face reality. I wish he would have retired after last season and go out on a high note, rather than end like this. I hope we get 3-4 points against Leicester and Sheffield to end this talk, but I fear 0 is more likely. I feel like our current talent level is good, about 10-12th out of the 20 teams. A good manager maybe could get us to the top 8-10, a poor manager to 14-16. There's no way this squad should ever be in a relegation battle. I disagree with wanting to move on from Parish though. I think he's done a good job navigating a very difficult period. He got the academy upgraded, which should help for the future. He's trying on the new stand, albeit slow going. He got outside investors, even though they didn't work out. He's been a loyal and steadying influence, keeping us financially stable and not making rash decisions. Best case, we stay up this year without too much drama, and make some incremental improvements with new blood in the squad and management.

Depressing thought, we got Leicester tomorrow and unless we give Tompkins, Riedewald,Mitchell, Clyne and maybe Butland n Bats we might get a result but Roy will stick with the same. Roy is too old school so let's get a fresh younger manager

Is it not the case that at the Tottenham game we had equalled our best start in the premier league? So - we played well against spurs and West Ham scored 5 against West Brom and fans or supporters were in high spirits. Yes - we played poorly the last two games but before that the previous 3 games there was a lot of positivity surrounding the style of play and results. Now - Roy out etc etc - as stated before he isn’t going anywhere - we will not get relegated and there will always be history shows that we will have poor games in a row and good games in a row. I very much doubt we will be anywhere near the relegation zone yes Roy may not have the spunk and desire to fire up the players however this season has always been about planning for the future with ensuring the right man is appointed for next season. That’s the bigger picture - I’m hopeful we can appoint the right candidate at the right time. The time isn’t now!

Frankly, being a Palace fan doesn't really come with the highest expectations. What's bothering me so much is our lack of fight. There must be something going on. There was literally no reaction to a 7-0 defeat, more of the same. So not only clueless, lacking in skill, unfit and lacking in ability, also completely lacking in effort. That's not on for a bottom half team. If we can't grind results out we will go down.

After Liverpool, Roy said that there are no excuses. Before rattling off a load of excuses. He'd make a great politician.

Quite right, we all want the same outcome but it's all to do with timing and as you say we are not anywhere near any relegation battle now and have never been with Mr Hodgson, fans are too quick to blame without thinking.

If you are so convinced everything is fine, let’s have your prediction of where our next win will come.
