No you didn't. You got a well reasoned and totally convincing counterargument on why this obviously sincere man was being used to promote a particular viewpoint and that, as this isn't his speciality, the views of those whose it is needed to be taken more seriously. Of course, as that doesn't fit with your prejudices, you will continue to push your completely wrong analysis, but that's hardly a new phenomenon, is it? It's a daily occurrence. The guy you are talking about wasn't used....anyone who watches the video will see that. You really are the most disingenuous person. Edited by Stirlingsays (10 Dec 2021 10.42pm)

Weedy beards, intense eyes and the all the conviction that a total lack of real world experience brings to the YouTube warrior. They are little more than student activists. The 'corbyn voter/one nation conservative' circle suck continues. Barely draws breath. Who the feck are you talking about anyway WE? The comic? Who? Or are you talking out of your Cornish Pastie again? Edited by Stirlingsays (10 Dec 2021 10.46pm)

Edited by Stirlingsays (10 Dec 2021 10.42pm) I watched it, so anyone can see it! He was used, it's just that you cannot, or don't want to, see it. The interviewer asked leading questions and steered the interview in a way that told her story, not his. He is honest, but this isn't his area. He has genuine concerns for those in his speciality who are being affected, but is neither aware of, or responsible for, the big picture decisions. It's typical of the kind of sources you use. Indeed, typical of the kind of sources that conspiracy theorists use. Use established facts, and reasonable arguments in a way that, when blended with assertions, paint a wholly different picture to reality. That's the opposite of disingenuous. You pretend to know more than you actually know.

You can be as dishonest as you like...they will see the interview and then see how you spun it to be about the interviewer over what he actually says. Edited by Stirlingsays (10 Dec 2021 11.29pm)

While it's clearly a good idea for people to make sensible lifestyle choices, they are where they are in that moment. Yes we should put measures in place to help people with addiction, weight loss, mental health and the like (and do, but in an insufficient way), but these aren't a 'click your fingers' job, whereas to an extent getting people vaccinated has been so far in terms of a massive impact of jabs keeping people out of hospital. People who would've been flying through the hospital doors in their many thousands as emergencies, which makes it a unique situation in contrast to these other health issues. The ease of getting vaccinated, puts it in stark contrast to the time in takes to resolve other concerns - it takes seconds. If people hadn't been vaccinated in vast numbers hospitals would be in a worse position. Clearly in this moment by far the very best thing to do to keep people out of hospital beds is vaccination, rather than taking a packet of cigs off someone or telling them not to eat a burger. 73% of intensive care unit admissions with Covid involve unvaccinated people, which is quite staggering considering the vastly disproportionate number of people in vaccinated groups. In any case suspicion of the government, and government control is one of the key reasons a minority are put off getting vaccinated, so if your alternative plan is banning cigarettes and limiting alcohol consumption you bump into that same problem anyway. I disagree, vaccinations have not done what they said they would do, I can give you a magic drink and tell you it will save your life, can't prove it, just trust me - that's the vaccine. And right now, there is a 'mutated' virus that evades the jab, so therefor they say have another jab, which makes no sense. slapping 25 plasters on a broken leg won't fix it. and what about in 6 months with a new strain and a booster needed for the last jab that's wore off? Come on - if in spring 2020 we went about our lives as normal - yet mandated fast food, alcohol, smokes, spent money on 10 new icu's around the country - we would be in a better position - heck, we didn't even need those nightingale warehouse hospitals.. Let's face it, this is one big scam and those that don't see it is won't see it.
