Maybe these will help. The first to understand, the second to understand why people believe conspiracy theories and how dangerous they are:-

The guy who spent years waffling away about Russia-gate wants to tell us about conspiracy theories.

He could have just re-directed people to the 'bias against Trump' thread

He needs a long hard look in the mirror.

I can't help it if you can't understand the post.

As for your foreign wife working in our NHS, well I appreciate her efforts. However, we should never had relied on 'international staff' in the first place and that's a consequences of 'on the cheap' politicised internationalist thinking by our political and institutional leaders.....All of these people could have been working within their own country's healthcare....which probably needs them even more than this one, while we could have invested in training our own native staff....this is a decades old issue.

I will say this....She will be under strain working within the public sector due to a myriad of reasons and I have some genuine sympathy for that.

However, lots of people work hard....lots of people do less than safe jobs....at least she has a job....people like you have supported the policies that have thrown many hard working and dedicated into unemployment who have to struggle to feed their families.....they don't have the benefit of an...let's be nice...individual...who is a landlord bringing in passive income.

As for whether someone is obnoxious or not....let's just say...on this point I think she must be a saint.

Just because I disagree with you doesn't mean I don't understand. I think your approach stinks, both of hypocrisy and selfishness.

Although totally irrelevant, my wife is British.

I don't claim to be an expert, but the idea that the answer to the NHS issues lie in us recruiting, training and retaining them locally has been around most of my life. It's very easy to say, but much more complicated in practice. I think we have stumbled into a situation that we didn't want, but couldn't avoid.

It's not that it's just cheaper to recruit from abroad. Selling it politically to the electorate, during periods of full employment, is a barrier too far in our system. The costs of setting up the training and then waiting many years for it to bear fruit is hardly an attractive entry in a manifesto.

Why on earth you think I support policies that have thrown people into unemployment beats me. I support policies that try to deal with situations as quickly as possible, to protect and nurture full employment in the longer term. Protecting people today and seeing them die tomorrow makes no sense.

My pension has been invested into rental properties. All of which are helping to fill a big gap in provision. They are affordable, single person, dwellings which are well maintained. I am a responsible, even caring, landlord and proud of what is being achieved.

How often do we have periods of full employment?

If you're smelling something bad, I would perhaps urge you to consider that what you're smelling is in fact your own narcissistic BS.....word to the wise...it's never a good look when you review yourself.

You make some reasonable points about recruitment and we could discuss the ways those problems are overcome without brain draining poor countries however it's probably better on a thread better focused on the NHS.

As for your wife ethnicity/nationality....I shouldn't have mentioned it as that's also a distraction.

It's funny when it's the guy who turns out to be right gets called a 'conspiracy theorist' by the establishment mouthpiece....when the establishment were denying all this from years back.

I wouldn't say I quite agree with Cullen on all his ideas but he's certainly been correct about lots of things from quite a time ago.

As someone who has watched Cullen I wouldn't say he holds 'ultra-nationalist views'....what the feck does that actually mean?....no doubt that's written by a leftist activist. But sure, he's a reactionary....but so what, so was Corbyn and you voted for him.

Maybe you should actually watch Cullen before you comment.

I just find it hilarious how the intellectual free thinker who had an epiphany in 2016 to awaken him and move away from us ‘normies’ just coincidentally happens to post views and sources that are *always* from some sort of alt/far-right online YouTube commentator with absolute zero qualifications or background in anything relevant, who peddle easily swallowed populist garbage for clicks.

As you are from the roughly 7 percent who actually believe in all that far left rubbish....I'd hardly call you a 'normie'....besides I don't like the implicit suggestion that I view 'normies' negatively....I was one myself for most of my life.

So when I post videos from Russell Brand and Jimmy Dore I'm posting videos from an 'alt/far-right online YouTube commentator' am I?

On this very thread I posted a video from an ex NHS surgeon of 30 years who isn't even anti vaccine and all I got was misinformed attacks because someone dares differ from sucking the establishment's c**k.

You are just pushing misinformation.

It's a good thing you're typing out your messages Dan and not having to speak because otherwise we'd only be able to make out sloppy sucking noises amid sounds of zips.

As far as I can tell from reports is the new variant is resistant to the vaccine, even when people have had boosters. Just my observation, but it looks like a new drug is needed. Perhaps the oral treatment drug will work, or be modified? If we have an actual effective treatment or vaccine, there would be no more reasons for restrictions.

If that's true big pharma and associated must be crying into their bank accounts.

When you look at this piece it's quite interesting. Not the only one I've seen - and totally pro government and vaccinations.

Have you also noticed how similar many of them appear? Not just their views, but physically? Weedy beards, intense eyes and the all the conviction that a total lack of real world experience brings to the YouTube warrior. They are little more than student activists.

No you didn't. You got a well reasoned and totally convincing counterargument on why this obviously sincere man was being used to promote a particular viewpoint and that, as this isn't his speciality, the views of those whose it is needed to be taken more seriously.

Of course, as that doesn't fit with your prejudices, you will continue to push your completely wrong analysis, but that's hardly a new phenomenon, is it? It's a daily occurrence.

The latest report suggests that those double jabbed and with the booster (like me) will be 75% protected and unlikely to suffer anything other than a mild illness.

The concern is the pressure on the NHS with a high surge of infection having a particularly damaging impact on the unvaccinated, resulting in the number needing hospitalisation rising again.

So still more evidence of the importance of getting vaccinated. Both for people personally, but also for everyone else so the NHS can function as well as possible.
