It isn't a matter of letting Roy choose which player to buy as he should say I want two strikers and a pair of full backs then leave it to others to scout them. He's done his bit by saying what he needs and the club has let him down badly by not providing what he asked for

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Roy's had enough ? ' by bexleydave He is looking the old man he's become and seems to have no variation in tactics - repeatedly sterile and defensive. Like our transfer recruitment - there is no Plan B. He has served us well but Pulis, Allardyce even Pardew could work out a more creative and attacking style. We have players with spirit and skill but he won't use them We are in danger as we slide down the table. If we do go down I'd prefer 3-4 instead of 0-1 or 0-2 he seems to prefer. His style is a recipe for losing fans and ultimate relegation. I think he should consider his position.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Roy's had enough ? ' by bexleydave I have the impression that the latter half of this season is akin to RH's last tournament as England boss and we are 80 minutes into the Iceland game...

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Roy's had enough ? ' by bexleydave This is the last thing we want at this time of the season. Keep us up and then look at it, but he has done so well under very testing conditions.

Or at least what type of players he wants so he can build a team. Roy doesn't take charge of a situation then hides behind excuses.

I like everyone else am very frustrated but take the boring 1 way of playing football out of the equation and look at today’s game in isolation. We should have won and we were the better team by far till Guita dropped that ball. I really believe Roy is under the orders of just keeping us in the division no matter what it takes and that there is a plan in place for the future regarding signings etc. I am worried that we could be pulled back into a relegation fight but my head tells me that won’t happen because of the way we set up. We will grind out enough wins to stay up comfortably in the end. This season is not going to be enjoyable or pretty but let’s just hang on in there because tomorrow is a new day.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Dougie Freedman' by bexleydave He apparently is in charge of all negotiations for incoming transfers (ha ha) so can any one please explain why, towards the last week of the transfer window he was in Israel with Parish watching the Youth team?
