Nobody viewed these characters to be racist even weeks ago. If people are wanting the focus on be on genuine issues, it's a world away from the tokenism of scanning through TV archives to find something that's 'blackface' but isn't. The context of actual blackface, to my mind, makes it understandable that people would be sensitive about it. I don't want to see black and white mistral shows back on our screens.
