Are you just scared that people with different opinions to your self might be right. Are people who read the guardian knuckle draggers??

If the price of remaining is a neo-Marxist UK Govt then the death of the Premier League is nigh. Premier league footballers to be in a super tax bracket and two independent members on each board to ensure full disclosure of worldwide assets for all other board members. Apparently.
Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry. |

SP what are you talking about. FIFA is the governing body, not the EU. To effect change for the PL you have to influence the FA and FIFA not Brussels politicians. Better wait and see for the actual details obviously there will ultimately be changes. Will they result in PL clubs performing better in the Champions League, for example? We haven't won a thing for a over a decade. Tbh SP, we need to see it on the pitch.

Read the article... FIFA have to adhere by EU laws! FIFA is the world governing body of football. We are not leaving FIFA, presumably after brexit we will still be in the footballing world. SP is a typical brexit dreamer, he gives no practical examples of how it would actually be better for the PL. Talk about revolutionising the game, how Steve stop waffling, try a Sainsbury's veggie burger there's a van outside. And how about some goals at home, do we have to wait until brexit for that ????

I think you should welcome the new privacy rules. As I see it there are companies and maybe individuals who are not law-enforcement agencies, who can quite easily access your private information and use it for their own ends. Granted they may be perfectly legit, but we do not know that so the scope for wrong-doing is there. I am concerned for my privacy I don't regard it as an EU matter but they are acting correctly IMO.

I find it hilarious that people still buy into this idea that the EU have some sort of anti UK agenda and somehow dream up rules and regulations merely to spite us and Europe is almost our enemy. Even more hilarious is the idea that we could do a much better job on our own because just look at the people that lead us ! especially the way they are handling Brexit as an example. Yes our politicians are so amazing they would make Britain great without the EU I suppose all they have to do is peddle enough nationalistic nonsense and enough lemmings will buy it. Well that's democracy ! worked for Trump !

People mainly voted leave because of immigration not because of a belief that we are going to be immediately better off. Cameron 'apparently' tried to get concessions on freedom of movement but the EU decided not to offer it....even though the EU didn't have freedom of movement for decades. Now we are leaving and many EU politicians want to limit our success of course there will be a rise in nationalism. Personally, I view that as much needed.
