Been holding my breath like probably the majority of supporters of Wilf, that he will remain a CPFC player, and with just over 30+ hours left cannot relax until the window closes !
The club deserves to keep him at this moment, because we would be in the Championship if he hadnt been a key figure in Palaces survival.

Please,Please,Please lets get the next day out of the way, and really look forward to what will be a brilliant squad

Supporter since 1957, however I now live in Oz. Did come over just for the Final in 2016, and am originally from Selsdon Enjoy the new season everyone

Don't want to pi** on anyone's chips, but the European window stays open for another couple of weeks after ours shuts.
I believe I'm right that one of the Euro big boys could potentially come in and put a head turning offer in and steal away one of our prized assets.
I really do hope this isn't the case, but it is still a possibility.

Wilf doesn't want to leave London so I doubt he will go abroad.
Never say never but more likely a head turning offer will come in late today from another London club.

You are right; they could. But we do have the right to say “no” - to pi** on their chips, as it were.

Let's hope the boards resolve isn't tested!

I guess I'm just a "can see what might happen, and hope it doesn't" kind of guy.

Maybe I'm being mad but can anyone explain why if a country closes it's transfer window, they can't also stop outgoings to other counties? Although unlikely, losing Wilf outside the window would be hell

The transfer window allows clubs to sign players which they can no longer do once it's shut - there is no such restriction on sales. Therefore, if another country's window is still open they can sign players from anywhere, irrespective of whether their target's window has closed or not.

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

I know those are the current rules but I just think surely it's better for everyone to work under a 'If it's closed, it's closed to everyone' kind of ruling
