Aki's curler against wimbledon a few seasons ago.

Of course Dougie's one against sunderland - the guy is still magic.

In terms of quality for me it's Ian Wright v Wimbledon at Plough Lane 1991. If you see it on the top 20 palace goals ever or something just marvel at how he takes it down from the goal kick, swivels, one bounce, and whacks it in from 40-odd yards. Pure Wrighty brilliance

Jim Cannon - Sept 1979 - last goal in 4-1 victory over Ippo to take us top of Division 1.

Sweeping move from goalkeeper (Burridge?) to Jimbo, out to Vince Hilaire on the wing, who runs & then crosses for Jimbo who has carried on a lung bursting run to the edge of their area and volleys into the bottom corner. Superb stuff

It all went downhill from there.....

3: Ambrose v forest (09)
another free kick

2: Danns v peterborough (10)

1: has to be Ambrose v villa in the cup, that could have won it if the ref had of give a goal kick instead of a corner from which petrov scored

Most of Don Rogers goals were special - the ones I remember were against Everton and Man Utd.

Loads to chose, but here goes..

1: Ian Wright vs Wimbledon (1991)

2: David Hopkin's 1997 play-off final winner against Sheffield United

3: Victor Moses vs Reading (09)
First strike was a peach, but his second topped that.

4: Dougie Freedman vs Portsmouth (02)
Picture perfect lob

5: Clinton Morrison vs Coventry (06)
Excellent volley!

Anyone go to the Norwich game way back in 1998 when we had just got relegated but Goldberg had taken over, Venables was back in charge. I think this was the first game everything clicked into place. We won 5-1 and being 14 at the time I thought we were genuinely the best team in the world.

I remember Nicky Rizzo equalising with a 30 yard screamer but the best was yet to come. Matt Jansen gave us the lead finishing of what is surely one of the greatest passing moves ever seen at Selhurst Park.

However the best goal was saved for last. Another great passing move found Lombardo who shrugged off a defender like he wasn't there, gave the keeper the eyes and put it in the opposite top corner.

Enjoy!

I'll never forget the day that Danny Butterfield scored that hattrick.
And when Ambrose scored that worldy at Old Trafford.

Red and Blue Army! No Matter What.
