Play Off Final 2004. Booked a Holiday in Devon well before we started our climb up the table that year. Missed the game on TV due to a road traffic accident and had to be content with commentary on Radio 5 which I kept losing in built up areas, just managed to hear the goal go in though. Missus was well chuffed with listening to the game whilst sitting in a long traffic jam lol!!!

We are Palace from Selhurst.

THAT game at Stockport, with THAT goal by Dougie. Especially bad was that my mates got a big close up jumping up and down celebrating live on sky sports.Where was I? bloody Hastings with the Missus

Despite only being 11 at the time i can remember listening to the game on the radio and being desperate to be at the ground watching, but bloody hell Stockport no thanks, i don't even recall the reason i couldn't go and it pi**ed me of when my friend came into school on the monday and went on about how she had run onto the pitch with all the other palace fans - i wish i had been there

Oh my god you cannot have missed that game, (don't mean to make you feel worse) but that was the best Palace game i have ever been to/remember.

I was working at JJB part time at weekends. Keep disappearing every 10 minutes to check the score. Not easy when your area manager is in store on a day visit.

Seems your not the only one Seth, with only 10k there I'm sure there's loads of fans who are gutted,
It's all to easy to slate people for not going but as I've lived all over the place I know it's not always easy to just up and leave and make for Selhurst park for a midweek fixture.

I was there tho

Sunderland away - play-off semi final.

North-East midweek is not a good enough excuse I know.

As it was I nearly had a toilet accident in the pub when Powell scored!

What a night, what a season!
