Phew, tense in the last knockings. Plenty for OG to sort out, not least to find out what keeps Ayew running and running.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Come on that is a good point. On the road and with players missing. All the nonsense going on behind the scenes. I’ll take a point all day long.

Onwards and upwards now with OG

That Sky Sports stat is extraordinary. 9 goals conceded in 90+ this season, in just 24 games.

Amazes me how much we drop off at the end of games. We happily play for 20-30 minutes like we're a non-league side at the Etihad.

Everyone's falling over looking for a free kick, no-one wants to play a pass, the pressing from the forwards completely stops...

Easy. Get our boys fit.

A better result than most of us expected. Pretty dire though.
Over to you OG, sort that lot out please.

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

Decent effort. Hopefully the new 'gaffer' can find the missing spark for Saturday.

Ref has been totally and utterly shocking. Given us nothing and given Everton everything

Called that in the first half ,he is one of the worst, always miles away from the action so reacts to the crowd .

Good point in the end though ,a win on Saturday and the Natives will be a bit more upbeat .

Let me state the obvious. The next game is a must win. If we can't take Burnley at home under a new manager we're dead this year.

Annoying to concede another late goal but a point I would have taken at the start and, I think, a promising performance.

I like the back three with the wing backs going forward and think Munoz looks potentially fantastic. Mitchell solid defensively but still not convinced by him going forward.

Wharton is going to be an absolutely fantastic signing. Makes so many important interceptions and has a brilliant eye for a pass.

Johnstone needs to be our number one keeper.

Fantastic goal from Ayew, I swear we've only scored amazing goals recently.

Mateta was really good again.

Referee gave us nothing and I swear every Everton throw in was taken about 15 yards too far forwards.

In short, lots to be positive about with our best players still to return.

If Glasner can stop us conceding late, conceding from corners nad improve our own set pieces, we should be more than fine.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

Disappointing, but if you heard the Radio London summariser, he thinks Palace fans have now got a lot to look forward to.
