I felt despondent on Saturday after Luton’s last minute winner.
However, Forest’s defeat yesterday took away some of the gloom.

We have 21 points to play for - surely we can muster 5 or 6 points from those?
That should be enough to keep us up and , frankly speaking, if we can’t then we deserve to be relegated.

Thank you for your realism!!

I agree with no 1, but Glasner did exactly the same thing with Olise against City and no one says a word.
Whether Roy would have done better or worse than Glasner is unknown. If we get relegated, then he couldn't have done worse.

What matters now is what happens next. We have to get results somehow, and I don't want to hear about systems or building for the future or how we will rebuild in the Championship.

Screw that, We need to stay up.

I see the two situations as very different.

Hodgson seemed to be pushing the medical and fitness team to say Olise could play a part. He then brings him on at half time presumably with the intention of trying to get something out of a game we were clearly going to lose.

Glasner seems to have been happy to wait until the medical and fitness team said that Olise could play a cameo. There was no evidence of him pushing to have the player back before he was ready. Olise comes on in the 74th minute (yes in a game we were going to lose but as part of his returning to full match fitness - not to try and change the game).

Two very different scenarios IMO.

Absolutely. We gained 8 points in the reverse fixtures so there's no reason we shouldn't be achieving a similar return now despite our injury woes

Really hard to see us winning away at the minute.

I really think we need a minimum of 4 out of Newcastle, West Ham and United. Hope for the odd point at Fulham and Wolves and cross our fingers that Villa have a great run to lock in CL football finished with a day on the beach.

Even with 6 points, I still think we're relying on favours. If Luton get 6 off Brentford and Everton then I think we're relying on Everton's points deductions or a Forest implosion to save us.

The last time a team went down on 36 points was 2016.

34 points led to relegation in 4 of the last 5 seasons.

Not this year I suspect.

A wider gap with the newly promoted.

And the points deductions.

Everton have apparently been deducted 2 points, putting them now 3 points behind us.
I think they’ll stay up anway , so the deduction is neither here nor there.
Apparently only Arsenal have kept more clean sheets this season.
I wonder when Forest’s appeal will be held.

Your continual speculation on several threads about Glasner being replaced in the summer, doesn’t look like you wish him any success at all.

It’s not speculation it’s just made up garbage from Willo so that he can ‘contribute’. There was NO bloke in his local talking at the top of his voice about Glasner the other day, neither has he been contacted by a plethora of people to discuss Glasners position should we be relegated.

The comments and posts are about as worthwhile as saying Palace could potentially be in the market for another centre back should Guehi or Andersen leave

The win against Burnley was Everton's first since December. The goal was a ridiculous mistake. They still have to play Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool. They are in real danger following the further points deduction.

It's almost as though the Premier League don't want to face the legal action if they do go down.

They've also got 3 home games that even we managed to get 7 points out of.

With it only being two points, I'm increasingly thinking it needs to be Forest.

Wolves (H) - Hope they're not on the beach, lot of injuries though.
Everton - They can't both win it
City (H) - City only got a point there last season in similar circumstances
Sheff Utd - Need them to turn up
Chelsea (H) - Useless. Chelsea will choke that.
Burnley - Need them to turn up.

Forest's winning run at the end of last season is a haunting memory.
