Just seen the video on X of someone being stabbed on the train in London. I won't post it here in case it breaks any rules.

Really is not shocking anymore.

Fair play to the Irish people though, at least they've got the balls to speak out about it rather than over here where we meakly keep quiet whilst all our values and traditions are eroded or trampled on!!

So according to Foxtons Croydon is the 21st most desirable place to live in London whilst Bromley comes last at 60.

Try telling that to the locals.

Another way of looking at this is that rather then desirability it's about affordability and value for money.

Bromley has always been an expensive place to live so whilst people might want to live their they can't afford to and Croydon offers better value for money.

I have lived in Bromley / Beckenham all my life, property prices rise are lot slower than other parts of London because they are at the top of the market and remain there even when house prices crash. So if you are looking to flip a property you would not pick Bromley.

Dulwich (1) is very nice but also has its grotty council estate poor quality areas cheek by jowl with millionaires row. Are these where people are buying?

I always loved the P4 bus route - Brixton to Lewisham… via Dulwich Village.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Do you mean Kingsdale? My late father was head of music there, mid to late 60's.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.
