You are talking about a radicalised people whose belief system made them think that living next door to people who hate you was a good idea. Meanwhile, those neighbours are controlled by a radical Islamic organisation who would want to kill all the Jews whether they encroached further into their lands or not.

Israel should never have existed. Israelis have got away with murder for decades because they are allied to the West and their history. Their hatred of Arabs is as ugly as the Arab hate for them, but their fear of them is real and clearly justified, as is the reverse.

In the end, you have to ask yourself who would you prefer living next to you.

I'll have the British option who actually likes British history and culture please.

I think you make excellent points.

This is a problem between Jews and Arabs and quite frankly shouldn't have anything to do with us in 2023. People can have their views on the rights and wrongs but it's not going to pay our bills......In fact it's more likely to put them up.

I'm sure that the answer many would give would be 'none of the above'.
I find it hard to cosy up to anyone who lives their life based on religious scripture.
This country should have been a shining light of secularism, civility and reason, and yet we have allowed the barbarians through the gates. People who openly celebrate the torture and murder of women and children on our streets.

Rishi Sunak says not in this country, and yet has done nothing to prevent it. Neither will Starmer. He will encourage it.

The whole laugh about the hate between Jews and Arabs is historically they both originated from the same womb. They have more in common than their hate will allow them to believe.

True, but a lot of the Jews had been in Europe for over 1500 years, in fact most.....it's why they are significantly whiter and why a lot of them are more genetically European than they may perhaps like to admit.

Yes and no. True, their roots are in the Levant but the diaspora started millennia ago and Jews have always tried to integrate despite much hostility.

In fact anti-Semitism has mutated from viewing Jewish people as alien foreigners to simply being rich white people.

Hrolf, you make a lot of sense. Just a shame we haven't had a politician with your clarity that I can remember.
And trying to correct this place now wouldn't be far off the impossible.
Exactly the problem only far worse in the Levant region.

Many of the problems we now face are simply because of atrocious decision making with little or no foresight, or just no concern for the future.
We have to live with those decisions while those who made them are dead or far removed from the fall out.

She needs to get her and her family out of that building. The Israelis are going to level all of those buildings before they send in their troops.

As well as cutting electricity supplies, food imports, water supplies and medical supplies, the final solution is to bomb the civilian population and steal Palestine.
Watch as the Palestinian civilian death toll increases massively ,...and the UK response is to light up the HoP with the Israel flag.
Cunces.

I disengage, I turn the page.

The cutting off of utilities etc is the bargaining tool; return the hostages unharmed and the utilities will be re connected…

Can't see them reconnecting anything until after they have gone through Gaza killing anything that moves. Hamas will be in their tunnels well stocked and waiting for them.

The only hope the hostages realistically have is to be either be rescued or escape before later bargaining.....it will be stupid for Hamas to kill them but there's little doubt it's going to happen to a percent.

The whole thing is horrible and a complete sh1tshow.
