I thought he had a good game against NF he needs confidence and could do with a few extra pounds but he is still only 20 . He will welcome those minutes played in the Premier League . Will he make it, his chances are better than most of the academy boys but the odds of making to the first team and being a regular starter are very slim only three players have done it in the last 13 years Zaha , Michell and Bissaka. I wish him well. Wayne Routledge

He just needs game time, he needs to have a run of starts until Olise is available, he can create, at the moment Ayew and JRS need to play wide, and Edouard in the CF position.
“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn |

The main reasons that JRS haven't started are his lack of experience, physical strength and defensive awareness.

He just needs to start believing in himself and he will get there. He is quick, skilful and got the ball control, but he lacks the belief to take them on and go round them and shoot.

He learned a valuable lesson. 70 minutes against top defenders is harder than half a season against league 1 defenders. He grew into the game and needs to get a little more savvy to his position relative to where the ball may come forwards from. All in all we could have another AWB.
